Well... we have eaten at the other Mexican restaurant in town and had some high expectations. We were hungry and really kind of let down. We both found that although good it wasn't great. The views of the beach and water off the patio are def. Amazing and relaxing. The ambiance of the place fits perfectly. Corona umbrellas, colorful tables and patio, Latin music. However the menu def. Lacked options. Its a one pager with almost no real GF, non dairy choices. The competition will happily make anything you want as you want or need it. We were made to chose what we seen and no options to make much or the way we needed. I sadly have an onion allergy and was told there was very little and thinly sliced if at all. It was loaded with onion and after 2 bites I was done and not feeling great. Yes we are hard to please eating out but at the other place the owner chef happily made our meals as we needed. I think that the could be a great place however they just need to be more open to making it for the customer. Sadly Sěniore and Sěnioritas I have to only give a 3 star rating due to this. Also seeing I hadn't eaten much of my food, it wasn't addressed why and what could be done to make it better or offer any discount option. Due to this I would recommend the other Mexican place on Main St for making it as the customer wants or requires. It appears they want tourist at this restaurant business but its the locals who keep it...
Read moreWhoever said it's the best Mexican food they've ever eaten in Canada needs to re-evaluate their palate and try other places.
This was the most disgusting food I've ever eaten in all my LIFE in ANY restaurant! I ordered the guacamole as an appetizer - it was super liquidy and had a very off-putting flavour to it. The house-made tortilla chips were fried in a terrible oil. Meal came. I ordered chicken quesadillas. The flavours in those quesadillas tasted like CANNED CAT FOOD!!! The rice tasted like it was Uncle Ben's microwaved rice. I felt ill after I finished my meal. It was the just the most terrible food I've ever had.
The server was not very good either. He spoke to us before we ordered and never came around again except to take our plates away and ask for our money. Never once came around to see how our food was. The only positive thing he did was keep my water full. Other than that he didn't do much.
Just awful. This place better re-vamp their food and learn how to cook Mexican food if they want to call themselves a Mexican restaurant. Heck, I can cook better Mexican food then what I was given tonight! Thanks for nothing,...
Read moreThe food was quite good, but the service was very slow. Servers seemed confused and overwhelmed, and our waitress was incredibly rude. Rolled her eyes, sighed loudly, often took off her mask. They do not provide water, you need to buy bottled water (as though we were in Europe!) My biggest problem was my 2 nieces were going to share a cheese quesadilla, they're kids and small eaters. The server never told us this was an issue until she showed up with 2 full quesadilla orders. When I said the kids were sharing, she replied "not allowed due to Covid". We are ONE family, plus all tables were getting appies and sharing! Shameless money grab by this place to eak out an extra $14. We should have been told this when ordering, don't just show up with two full orders. They even charged us for drinks we did not order, but we had been waiting so long for the bill we just wanted out. As I said food was good, but the poor service and misleading business practices do not make a return visit worth it. Love supporting small businesses, but will not be back and I definitely do...
