This is a very hipster sushi place with giant bowls and plates that barely fit on the table. You have to go up and order/pay your food like a fast food restaurant and then they bring it to you. OK if you're there with one person but when you're in a group like we were it's a tad annoying going up there with everyone's order and taking up the only order line. They (4 people) SHOUT hello at every person that walks in and bye to everyone that leaves which is kind of neat but also distracting from any conversation you might be having. So it's not really that kind of place to have a nice meal with someone and talk. It's an experience... Which is why gave it 4 stars. The food was pretty good. You cannot get tuna and salmon sashimi together unless you order the dish (pictured in my review) which has another type of fatty tuna in it which I'm not a fan of. Otherwise it's just either salmon or tuna sashimi and it's 7 pieces for either so way too much of one type for me. The salmon was sockeye which is the best so that was really nice to see. The miso ramen I ordered was only okay. Overcooked noodles and the pork wasn't the best. My husband had a different one and said it was good. But they were kind and quick. I wouldn't come back here for the sashimi, I prefer more choices in my sashimi.

Japanese food is my weakness since child hood cause I am Japanese anime fan and I used to wonder how this Japanese sushi will be or Ramen will be, since I was in India and we didn’t had any exposure for this cuisine at that time I used to crave a lot. But since I moved to Canada I have tried so many Japanese restaurants from all you can eat to ramen places and I have loved it and have developed my taste for this beautiful cuisine for last six years. I was visiting few friends in Osoyoos, British Columbia for few days and that time I have visited this restaurant. Recommended by my friends cause it was their favourite Japanese restaurant. And I personally loved this place, staff was nice, food was great and we had good time here. They have great variety of menu. Usually we don’t find sushi and ramen together in most of the specialty restaurants but yes this place have them both. This is causal restaurant with self service with limited area. Which I think is the only drawback but rest everything is so perfect. Kind of fast food place but excellent Japanese food and service. Must visit if your from this town or visiting this place. Thank you 🙏🏽😊

Visiting from Vancouver, and I'm a long time sushi aficionado (40+ years). This was some of the finest sushi I've had, and at extremely reasonable prices. The wait times and seating were not good, but that's testament to the high quality of the food and its resulting popularity. I seriously overate, everything from top-notch toro nigiri to fabulous tempura (the coating simply would not slide off the food and, my own benchmark of quality tempura, the crispy tail shells of the prawns could be eaten without even noticing a change in texture) to a delicious poke bowl to high-quality house sake (I said that I overate, right?). The end bill for this feast was easily what I would have been charged at a low-end sushi joint in Vancouver and about half of what I would have expected considering the high quality of the meal. Given the huge amount of business this restaurant was doing at the time I was there, I sure hope that they expand their seating, although I know that's difficult in a community that doubles in size in the summer months. This will be an early spot for me to eat in future visits.
