Majer's Motel — Hotel in Perth East

If i could rate this place 0 i would. This is the worst place i have ever stayed. We stayed in this motel for 2weeks with no problem then we took off and came back the following week. when we came the old man who i thought was nice before was super rude and disrespectful towards me and my boyfriend. we arrived there at midnight the first thing this man said to us was why didn't you guy's call to give me a notice that you will be arriving around this time. Uh idk this is a motel ... and i am pretty aware that motel's / hotels are open 24/7 like i didn't know we where suppose to call in first... i said to the old man then he went off saying there is another down the street we can go there. OK my question is why is he telling us we can go to another hotel like no one stated that... right there that's rude how can you treat your guest like we are some unwanted people . I can assure you that's not how you run a business. As my boyfriend was filling out the form for the room i herd my boyfriend say 4nights ? i guess he was trying to make a deal with the old man but the old man ended up getting upset and then i remember seeing the old man push my boyfriend telling him to get out . First of all why are you touching my boyfriend? that 's harassment and an assault you can be charged for that. My boyfriend being the calm cool collected type of guy was focused on calming the man down and telling him we have stayed in this place for 2weeks before so why in the world are we being treated this way. Me on the other hand i personally did not want to stay at this motel again anyways because upon all the rudeness this motel has bugs!(cockroaches) and they crow out especially at night . My boyfriend only wanted this motel upon everything simply because it is very close to his work site.The old man tried to use the same treatment towards my boyfriend towards me but i yelled at him and told him not to touch me and if he wants us out we can leave like i was so upset i wasn't going to put my money at some dirty motel with such disrespect as well so my boyfriend and i we left and we ended up finding this amazing motel with beautiful big rooms honestly the best motel in Stafford i believe this should have been our...

VERY UNHAPPY with this motel. And very disappointed. Decent place for the price. The lady who runs it initially seemed very nice. The room was reasonably clean and the outdoor pool looked lovely

First problem was the noise. ZERO soundproofing. Walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbours conversations as if you're in the room. The person next door left the TV on all night. We could hear it as clearly as if it was in the room with us. Tried calling the front desk multiple times with no answer. Eventually they answered and called the room next door. The TV was turned down but we could still hear it all night could barely sleep and the next day was ruined because we were exhausted.

You can also hear every car and truck that passes on the highway. Even with all the windows closed.

The next day we needed to sleep in because of the rough night. In spite of the "do not disturb" sign on the door,the cleaning staff disturbed us at 9 AM knocking twice then were about to unlock the door before I shouted at them to go away. Not cool.

To add insult to injury, when we checked out and told the owner about our experience, she was completely unintended and made us feel like we were being unreasonable. When I said we won't be coming back, she didn't care and just said "That's okay. Take care then"

It's obvious that this establishment doesn't care about repeat business so don't expect any level of customer service. Just a basic bed to sleep and simple washroom to shower. Be sure to BRING EARPLUGS. Just in case.

I only wish I could have had a good night's sleep to be able to enjoy their cute...

Can’t believe I have to give even 1 star. Unreal, horrible experience here with the management as well as the room.

I did not feel safe. Only 1/3 windows in the floor level room locked. When we called the manager to come and try to help us lock the window or provide a solution, she angrily and rudely came and told us we were “stupid” for thinking Stratford was unsafe, when I told her you never know, she told me “if something happens, sue me”. Then when I asked her to leave while she was trying to close the window because she was being SO rude, she told me to “shut up” and then told us to get out. At 11:30pm.

This could have been handled so differently, she could have come and helped, and made us feel comfortable. I didn’t want to have to call. No one wants to pull anyone out of bed at 11:30pm, but hey, that’s the business you’re in. Then she could have left and spoke to her friends about how “stupid” we are. And we would have stayed and she would have received a positive review.

I can’t imagine she is kind to anyone if this is how she treats complete strangers/paying customers.

This woman was HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favour, spend a couple extra bucks and hit up the Quality Inn next door. We feel safe, and the rooms are 10x nicer for only a few bucks more.
