My wife and I traveled 1 hour west of Ottawa as to venture into Old Quebec City. I found this Cosmo restaurant on our GPS and stopped in for breakfast and it was just down from our Motel
We only speak English and we had no issue whatsoever with the staff.
We downloaded the menu onto our cell phone by taking a picture of the design thing, and I don't know what the proper name is but I got the menu right in front of me on my cell phone and I ordered a traditional breakfast with bacon and the potatoes two eggs over easy and white toast..
The waiter was just absolutely fantastic and this breakfast was just dynamite and I never ever had potatoes like that in my life anywhere in my travels and I have been everywhere from the west coast to the east coast of Canada...
My wife ordered The Omelette and couldn't finish it because it was really big.
The pineapple Orange watermelon little pieces were as fresh as fresh can be..
I got 5 pieces of bacon on my plate and where I live I'm usually accustomed to only 2 pieces.
My wife asked for some salsa to put on her plate and the waiter without hesitation brought back some salsa for her...
I truly wish that they would open up a restaurant in this name by my house and if the waiter wanted to come and move close by and also help out that would be fantastic also...
When we ordered this breakfast ,,,I think it only took 2 minutes and it was on our table...
Thank you to the team working May 14th in the kitchen and all the staff because you made my wife extremely happy and that makes me extremely...

while our first experience was not wonderful, we want to first say we had to wait a long time to be seated as the restaurant was extremely crowded, and our waiter may not have have understood us so well and perhaps that was the reason the food we ordered was not so wonderful. Next three nights we were in the restaurant across the street, even our hotel room was in the same hotel where the Cosmos restaurant location is.
We published our review that was less than stellar and after we saw Restaurant Manager comments here, we went back and spoke with 2 managers that expressed their concern about our customer experience. They apologized to us and wanted to make us happy and gave us some fresh fruits when we left that discussion.
We were so impressed that the managers sought to understand the problem and genuinely wanted to make things right. That the managers listened to us with empathy showed us that they care about their customers, so we have upgraded our review and look forward to going to this restaurant next time we are in Quebec City again.
Original review I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars! My mom's salad was not fresh, and for my crème brûlée, the Caramel was over torched and more than burnt, and the food was a bit off!
It was our first time in Quebec city and the first night was not so fun from ...

Despite our reservation and calling in about 5 minutes prior to advise of traffic but not far and on our way, when we finally arrived 10 minutes later, we still had to wait another 10 mins for our table.
General service in-house was quick and friendly. Great decor, but the menu was very typical; nothing to shake a stick at. But the food did taste good.
Great calamari entrée. I just wish there was a bit more noodle to sauce/meatball ratio. After about 5 or 6 scoops, was left with a meaty tomato mix. For the fish and chips, the fish had a great batter, not overcooked, but the julienne fries were. Also, the tartar sauce came in the size of a small soup bowl. Again, sauce-to-fish ratio was a bit off, so we had to waste about 3/4 of that after we were done.
Waiting for our bill, we also noticed the busboy cleaning other tables, and then setting them, fingers on the fork prongs and spoon scoops, and fingers in the clean glasses - as he placed them on downwards on the table. It wasn't our table, but we suspect it might be the case before we arrived. Not very appealing.
Overall... it was......
