Lochiel Street Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Renfrew

Superb! We’re a young couple, stayed for 1 night. The room was cleaned impeccably, large, private en-suite washroom with all amenities, comfortable bed & pillows and an AMAZING breakfast! The hosts have thought of Everything, from little baskets filled with essentials, to a fridge full of drinks. Extremely reasonable for what’s included! The room had a flat screen tv, wifi and cable. The breakfast room is an art piece, offering choice of dishes, fresh fruits, gourmet yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, homemade biscuits (to die for), ice water and juice. It was welcoming, delicious and all homemade! We arrived late, there was ample lighting to find the place, lots of parking out back, the door was open and we were greeted & taken to our room. It was the best choice, it is well located not far from Renfrew’s Main Street and a nice little park by the river. The hosts are really nice and discreet. It s a very quiet place, the room I had was big, clean with everything you need (coffee maker, fridge with cold drinks (just outside the room), air conditioning, tv…) The best part was the breakfast! 2 options to choose from and both looked delicious. Fresh coffee, OJ, freshly made cinnamon buns and I went for the blueberries pancakes. I had a separate table which was appreciated knowing the situation. We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay at this lovely BnB. My only regret is that we were able to enjoy it less than 24 hours. Ah, but the impression it made. The home is lovely and takes one back to the era when stately homes were solidly built with large, airy rooms. Ours hosts, Gail and Steve, were kind and helpful. Their thoughtful touches were greatly appreciated: glasses wipes, ear plugs, etc. Touches that let a weary traveler know they care. Breakfast was scrumptious. We so appreciated their serving us earlier than is typical given our long day of driving ahead as well as offering gluten free toast to accommodate my needs....
