Zio Nicolas — Restaurant in Renfrew

I ordered tonight,a med tropical pizza with mushrooms and olives on it and onion rings at 6:50pm,. I get the onions rings ok ,but my pizza wasn't what I ordered. I got a med pepperoni and bacon pizza instead. I worked all day and i am tired so I thought ordering my favorite pizza from Zio's and to be wonderful, i couldn't wait to get it.i was disappointed when I opened the box and it wasn't the pizza I ordered.the guy on top of that delivered it around 8pm . When they close and I couldn't get through to Zio's to tell them. I feel I should get a med pizza that I ordered for free. I was hungry and didn't feel like cooking so I started to eat the pizza. Even though it wasn't the one I wanted.i took a pic of the pizza and the receipt stating what I ordered and what I got. Even my son came over to verify that they indeed gave me the wrong pizza. We really enjoyed our pizza and wings last night. The Large pizza was great and had way more cheese than the other places give you! The Canadian pizza was good, lots of cheese, bacon, pepperoni and mushroom on top. Sauce was sweet and the dough of the crust tasted like the recipe had been mastered over the years.

They have a good deal on wings, 30 for $25. Cheaper than their competitors, although the sauce selection is much less; mild, medium, hot, honey-garlic.

I also tried a burger. It was nicely prepared and had the normal topping; ketchup, mustard, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle.

I had a chance to chat with the owners while waiting for the order to be completed. They were lovely to meet and I will definitely be coming back to this family owned establishment next time...

Just on quality, I would give a 5/5 rating. However, we have tried to order from them probably a good 10 times and only two of those times have we gotten through when calling. The majority of the time the phone just rings until an automated message says "the person you are trying to reach is not available at this time". We always give them 3 or 4 chances with a solid 10 minutes between each call whenever we want to order from them. We would love to order from them more, and we will keep trying, but every time this happens it's unfortunate because we end up ordering from Domino's who picks up the phone after 2 rings...
