Edit post-owner reply: Thanks for your reply. I didn't mean to offend; I was simply sharing my experience as a customer. The cold brew was great, and I understand that small businesses, especially in smaller towns, can have longer wait times on busy weekends.

My comment about "country time" wasn't meant as an insult, just an observation about the slower pace. I also wasn't trying to question your technical expertise.

That said, I was surprised by the tone and personal nature of your response. My review was honest feedback to help others, not an attack. I expect businesses to respond professionally and respectfully to constructive criticism.

Original review: Cold brew was great. But I didn’t realize everyone sitting in the cafe was also waiting for their drinks and made the mistake of ordering an iced americano. Even the barista was talking about how people have called him out for not having more help but he says it’s a matter of his machine only pulling two drinks at a time. Don’t know if I can agree with that. If you want coffee come with patience, you’re definitely on country time here. I gave up on the iced americano...

I have recently started visiting this location to grab an iced tea and work on some art and graphic design while spending time in the cafe.

They have a wonderful, bright layout of various seating arrangements that are great for working, studying or relaxing. This place is great for creatives!

I really enjoy their selection of tea lemonades, and have been trying out the variety of flavours this summer! They also have wonderful food and a selection of craft beer!

The service is wonderful and the cafe is clean and very well kept. Always a pleasure to stop in and see the staff and patrons.

Recently caught a live show there as a group called The Family Name were performing on their cafe tour this summer, and I must say, this was a great intimate venue that offered an awesome live show experience.

A wonderful experience at OVC Renfrew yesterday! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating. The atmosphere cozy and inviting. There was lots of natural lighting, supplemented by ample, warm string lighting and overhead fixtures. The space had a comfortable layout, plenty of seating, not placed too closely, and the wooden tabletops appeared to be locally sourced, made from a single slab of wood. My only comment for an area of improvement would be to tighten the top of the side table between the 2 green armchairs, it was a bit wobbly. The dirty chais were delicious, the foam top artwork most impressive, seeming to last longer than usual! We enjoyed the experience so much, my companion and I returned later that afternoon for another beverage after a stroll about town. Well done Ottawa...
