Save all your emails and reservations with this hotel! i booked two rooms here on for myself and my friend ,and one for my aunt mom and niece. our 2 night 1 king room wasn't a issue how ever the 2 queen room for Saturday July 20th, was a issue. i booked it in april, via the front desk and confirmed it june 15th only to have my mom aunt and niece get to the hotel get to the hotel at 5pm Saturday after we had spent the afternoon touring the area to find out they had over booked the 2 queen rooms. as there was a baseball tournament this weekend, and had switched them to a 1 king room . My friend went down with the emails and the hotel was great and give us a free king room for my mom and niece. I didn't use a booking site for the cheapest room or book it last minute, i have had the exact issue before with a booking site at a differnt hotel. after that have always phoned the desk to get my rooms it isn't always the cheapest but i have always had excellent luck with phoning the desk, and working directly with the hotel. just glad i had the emails and the front desk staff were awesome and comped us a room for there mistake. so my mom and niece got a decent bed and not a hide a bed. The breakfast was just ok the coffee was bitter my aunt said the eggs were watery but we all manged to find something to eat. The pool was definitely busy, we still enjoyed it with the extremely hot weekendthe pool was nice. We were happy to be close to the mountains and the beautiful area around rockymountainhouse, we had a great weekend in rocky mountain house. The only restaurants in walking distance are tim Hortons and Boston pizza as there on the south end of rocky mountain house across a bridge that was under construction. so you have to drive into rocky to get food there is no walking paths to get you anywhere useful. The nearest restaurants are nearly 1km away after Boston pizza. The fo4rty eig8t is really good for supper and rocky mountain mudd for your morning coffee was great as well depending upon what you are looking for. Rocky has lot's...

Stayed here 3 nights for business
Pros: comfortable bed, lots of pillows of different firmness, good room temp control, amazing hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, waffles etc), 24 hr free coffee, Boston Pizza restaurant in same parking lot, very kind and courteous staff, snacks avail for purchase for late night munchies, accommodating for more k-cup coffees in the room and also lent me a glass wine glass for my after dinner wine, hot water in shower with good water pressure. Mini fridge and microwave in the room was much appreciated. Very quiet during my stay and I could work and sleep undisturbed.
Cons: Although my room was tended daily - fairly certain it was not vacuumed before or during my stay. There were tiny rock pebbles I could feel beneath my stocking feet and see with the naked eye. I made use of the large desk for late night work, however the lighting is terrible and I had to take the lamp shade off of the desk lamp and it was still much too dim for working. Sign posted on the front entry door that doors are locked at 11pm and to ring to enter - I went out and came back in at 1:00 am and the doors were not locked and no one was at the desk to see me come or go. As a young woman staying alone, that was concerning for safety and security - although perhaps they did see and recognize me from a security camera in the back? I don’t know.
All in all, I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel. The staff is lovely, the breakfast divine, and the hot tub did wonders for the stress and tension from a...
Read moreI went and stayed here with my family for a night and it was absolutely amazing. We were able to sign in a half an hour early which helped alot. The room was clean and tidy. Certain rooms have direct access to the parking lot from your room which helps with bringing in belongings into the hotel room. Our room had a mini fridge and coffee pod machine but there was no pods probably because of covid but it wasn't a problem. They also have a pool with a slide and hot tub which was nice especially after a long hike. Shoutout to the night staff member for turning on the slide without asking because she could tell we definitely wanted to ride that slide, it was awesome possum. The staff in general were super nice and respectful. The breakfast in the morning was the cherry on the cake. The eggs, hash browns and bacon was all cooked perfectly. I showed up 5 minutes after breakfast closed and I thought it was closed so I just asked for a coffee but the staff member asked if I was hungry and wanted breakfast and served me up a plate. I sat down and started to eat and realize that my family was still getting up and might miss breakfast so so I explained to the staff member that I had three people getting up and if they would miss breakfast she said there was enough for three people left and gave me three plates to bring back to the room which was fantastic and highly appreciated. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an awesome Hotel....
