Brooksbnb — Hotel in Sussex

We loved our stay at Brooks B&B. We arrived on our bikes and had a safe place to park them in the back. It is very handy to downtown Sussex. Try the nearby restaurant called 'Knocks Cafe' -- Excellent food! Brooks was built in 1902. The home has been well maintained and furnished with beautiful antiques. Jean has made it a point to learn as much as she can about the history of the building. Among her many talents, Jean has a green thumb. Every room in the house has beautiful plants. Her garden and porch area are also bursting with plants and flowers. You will be treated to a delicious breakfast every morning served in antique platters and bowls. Fresh warm croissants, boiled eggs, a variety of fresh fruit, yogourt...When we would leave for the day on our bikes, Jean would make sure we brought the bottled juice and some fruit with us. We spent a week here which gave us the opportunity to enjoy many conversations with Jean and John. They are friendly and welcoming and will take good care of you. This place has been the highlight of our trip to Sussex. Jean is the most welcoming and warm hostess you can ask for. A truly amazing woman! when visiting the bay of fundy, we couldn't have expected such a warm welcome from jean and john. it was wonderful! the home itself was full of history and beauty that they were more than happy to talk about. breakfast was yummy as well. we definitely recommend this unique experience, as we will be coming back! thank you for the experience :)
