My wife and I and couple of our close friends went out for a much needed kid free dinner. I got the seafood chowder, the flavours and the thickness was perfect. Only thing was the potatoes in it were overcooked. My wife got the smokehouse pizza. There was the perfect amount of toppings and the flavours mixed well!, our friends got the blooming Onion and The Mule BXL Burger. The Blooming onion was amazing, the house made batter had great flavor and the dip went perfect with the massive onion. Although The Mule BXL Burger was good. It didn’t have the flavours as the rest of the food . They also got the deep fried pepperoni. It was ok.Our Server Jenica was phenomenal. Great recommendation, fast server, and very polite! The option to go over and play pool or darts afterwards is an added bonus to the spot!

My viewpoints and experiences come from being a road warrior that has lived, traveled and worked around the four corners of the continent. As you can see, I have not written a review for a while but felt that I should. Perhaps the Mule has potential but truth be told, was EXCEPTIONALLY disappointed with overall quality of food, presentation and service. To boot, the Dinner bill was 78 dollars for two and that didn't include big liquor bill. Overall, my experience is one that I would not repeat and does not deserve a second chance. Also, as you can see, it is not somewhere I would recommend.

We called in while passing through, on a Friday night at 830pm. The steak dinner special ($9 for a steak + add extras such as fries) was excellent. We were welcomed, we were served quickly, and the food was hot and fast. The fries were so fresh. The place is a dive bar with character, I wished it was my local, because it's down to earth and a bit of fun. I would recommend if you are driving the highway and need a break, but beware we felt the menu was a bit expensive ($20 for many of the main items).

I've been to the Mule several times and after multiple mishaps I have zero desire to go back. Its so clearly obvious the kitchen staff doesn't care. The only consistent thing about the mule is how wildly inconsistent the food is. 40 to 50 percent of the time the kitchen messes up orders.

Tonight's service is the final straw. We ordered a pound of boneless wings with sauce on them. When the wings came out there was a tiny cup of sauce on the side. Not nearly enough to cover a pound of wings, plus not what we asked for. The server left so fast and never came back to check on us. We waited about 15 minutes before we finally flagged the waitress down. After waiting and having to call her over we still had to wait another 5 minutes for her to fix our issue because she had to put another order in, because the kitchen would be mad if she didn't do it fast. Ridiculous. Couple more minutes later our wings were tossed in sauce like they should have been in the first place. Ice cold because we had waited over 20 minutes for them to be served how we asked them to be. The wings were cold, chewy and the breading tasted burnt. The table next to us got their meals served in take out containers. The waitress even said to the table, "sorry not sure why they put them in take out boxes."

Funny the waitress never came to check on us but about 10-15 minutes into eating quickly gave us the bill, took a plate we weren't done with and shoved us out. Totally rude, embarrassing service. We wouldn't have had to be pushed out if our meal was prepared properly the FIRST time.

But thats how the Mules kitchen staff operates. I feel almost bad for the waitresses how awful the kitchen staff is. It's embarrassing. 3 separate occasions I've been to the Mule my fries have been served undercooked. Numerous times meals have been cold. Roughly a month or two ago me and my partner ordered boneless wings. There was us and one other person in the mule at time. The waitress came out with our food and said, "the kitchen messed up, is bone in ok?" I said no. She gave us the bone in one's for free. But so what? If we said we were fine with bone in they would have made us pay for them? That's ridiculous. We shouldn't have been served something the kitchen got wrong.

I paid 51 dollars tonight for some nachos, a beer and pop, and chewy cold wings that we couldn't even enjoy with our nachos. Service sucks. The kitchen staff is horrible. I shouldn't have had to pay full price for cold food that was presented to me wrong. I'm tired of this place. They have full potential to be a good place, but choose to be...

We had family visiting from up north so we decided to try out The Mule. I'd never been there before. My first impression was I thought it was really nice & clean. It wasn't busy, only a few people there. Three servers were at the bar/cash and it took them close to 10 min to greet us. We were seated and greeted by a lovely server who was really friendly. She brought our drinks and also pitchers of water. We sat there for about 30 minutes before she came back to take our orders & she realized that she didn't give us any menus. After we got those, we ordered our food. 2 plates of chicken fingers, nachos, 2 steak and potatoes and a club wrap. We waited and waited. Other patrons that had arrived well after us were already served, ate and paying their bill. The bar side was arriving & eating. Still no food. Finally, another server came out with the chicken finger platters and nachos. (The bbq chicken nachos are to die for by the way! Mine were hot) After what felt like eternity, one of my relatives got up to check and could see our food sitting there. Finally, the rest of the food came out to us. We had to flag her down and ask her for condiments, sour cream etc. and that's when she finally asked how it was- the 2nd part of the food that came out was cold. Fries, potatoes, and steak were really cold. She offered to have it recooked but we would have been there all night. We asked for more pitchers of water but didn't get those until we were ready to pay our bill. Didn't need it then. She did bring out coloring books as 2 kids had enough at that point. No reason or apology as to why this took so long. We were there for almost 2.5 hours. It wasn't busy so I'm not sure what happened. And yes, we...

First time going, service was very slow for what seemed like not a super busy day. We were there for a total of 3hrs. The appetizers we took tasted good but the main meals were mediocre for how expensive it was. Could have gotten the same satisfaction at home. One of them had two seperate hairs inside her burger. Asked for no tomatoes and had tomatoes. The home-cut fries tasted like they were deep fried in old overused oil. The server was a little rough around the edges, she threw the debit machine on the table and did not smile much at all.

The table beside us had two of their meals returned to the kitchen. The cutlery that was given when we came in was dirty so we had to ask for new ones. There was alot of flies around the dining area. The bathrooms were so small, I couldn't change my baby's diaper because I would've boxed someone in their stall, so I had to go outside and change the baby on a bench.

I only read the reviews once we were seated and waiting for our meals and it seems like the responses from the restaurant always has an excuse for why the service or kitchen wasn't good that day.

Overall, there's alot of room for improvement on the service, kitchen and appearance. Place has...
