We stayed one night after getting off the bus from up north. We were a bit concerned when we sought directions and saw the recent reviews. When we arrived we asked the gentlemen about the negative reviews. He explained there was someone out to get. A personal vendetta. Trying to ruin his business reputation. He invited us to check out the room before we paid for our room. The room was clean. Double bed. Sofa. TV. Full kitchen with cooker and fridge freezer. Iron. Hairdryer. In fact everything you could want. Plenty of towels and toiletries. We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean. We had no problems despite the other reviews. They also watched our luggage whilst we went for a short walk into town. Fully equipped motel rooms. Decor is a bit dated. That doesn’t matter. We need cleanliness and comfort. They provided. And a lovely welcome.

We had just came back from this Inn, i'd say it was pleasant at first till I saw literal roaches in bathrooms and kitchen area. Upon waking up, i was then greeted by bedbugs on my bed and now I have many several bed bug bites all over my body. Not just me but my aunt who was allergic to their bites.

The bedbug infestation was so overwhelming that we were forced to throw away most of our treasured belongings after only a few days of staying. (Photo was taken after we moved to another hotel where,we had to pay an extra rate of $500 per night since it was a last-minute booking)

Nothing about the hotel itself. The owners were friendly enough.||Cons: Outdated, entire room including bathroom needs major overhaul, Closet doors, pictures on the walls. Needs sprucing up, and updated.||Location: Across the street from transit bus parking lot, homeless shelters near by, behind tire shop, not a good location.||We booked this hotel online, after reading reviews and looking at pictures we were optimistic that the hotel would be ok and not as bad as it sounded. With new management we decided to give it a try. What a mistake that was. Registration went smoothly, the new owners were friendly. I became suspicious when I was handed a room key, not a card pass and when the owner mentioned there were a few homeless shelters in the area. Upon going outside we noticed some shady looking people hanging around the hotel and I became concerned for our safety. The room had been redone looked relatively clean, but was bare, a bed, 2 old card table chairs, a small fridge, no doors on closet, no pictures just bare walls, floors were dirty. We left and when we returned a man was sitting outside chain smoking and obviously lived there. SCARY, did not even want to get out of the car. It was getting late and had no choice but to stay the night. Spoke to the owners said we would be checking out the next day and would like a refund for the remaining 2 nights. He did agree to give us a full refund and we did stay the one night. We did not sleep well, we were woken up by an alarm going off at the transit bus parking lot next door, just did not...

Everyone: try zeds or Paul's motor inn. Didnt even stay here. As soon as my friend and I got out of the car the guy at the rental office walked out with a scowl and a cigarette in his mouth and said we looked like trouble. We were clean, well dressed, and obviously not partiers but for some reason he was immediately unhappy. After getting booking confirmation from hotels.com five minutes prior, he spent 5 minutes looking frustrated trying to operate what looked like the third or fourth computer humanity ever produced and said he could not find our booking. This man look like he walked out of tent city under the overpass to bum some cigarettes and immediately proceeded to, using some choice words, judge us into oblivion. Being the furthest thing from a "can I speak with your manager" type of person, and not terribly inclined to write reviews, I felt so degraded by a few minutes of interaction with this awful person I thought maybe for once I should say something. We left without giving metro Inn our business and I kind of hope others might do the same. Reading the other reviews I think we didn't...

Stayed one night at the Metro Inn and will not be coming back ever again.

The size of the room was nice. That's about the only thing good about this hotel.

Room was advertised to have Wi-Fi, but the router was too far to reach our room. There were several insects sharing the room with us. There were also many old insect carcasses under the bed. The front door would not lock properly Both the bathroom door and the front door needed excessive force to close properly Out of the three lights in the bathroom, only one was working The refrigerator was filthy; the door was covered in a layer of a dried out, white substance There was a very large closet space, but no hangers to hang clothes on No desk space or any chairs There were some interesting stains found on the bed under a UV blacklight

I would definitely not recommend the Metro Inn to anyone. However, if it is your last resort, I recommend that you pack an electric fly swatter and...
