Hotel El Tatio — Hotel in Antofagasta

I was there for business. All rooms have view to the beach. Kind of noisy because of the traffic in Avenue Grecia. Included breakfast is poor. However, the neighbour restaurant Picadillo is a very good option to have a meal, but I am not sure that they offer breakfast. By the way, breakfast in Chile is neglected in terms of restaurants that offer it. The lobby level has stairs that you need to use to carry your baggage, same thing when you need to take the elevator from your room since elevator access is in levels in-between the levels of rooms. Watch out heavy luggage transport! No help was offered to carry my luggage and I didn’t see any bellboy. The room that I had lack of a safe and the lock was manual, with a key, and you need to lock with the key, because just closing the door doesn’t lock it. Be careful with that, because if you leave without locking, the door stays open. Leaving the hotel, you need to leave the key at the reception. Another warning: I was never asked any identification or my name when asking for my key when returning at the hotel, although different people gave me the key without hesitation. El hotel esta en la plena playa, tiene una ubicación excelente ya que queda a pasos del balneario. Los mejores restaurante de la zona estan cerca (de todo tipo economicos y de lujo). Me gestionaron la estadía en este hotel para una visita a la ciudad de Antofagasta. Es un hotel pequeño, pero agradable, la atención es excelente y de trato cordial.
