HOSTAL ISLA CHILHUÉ — Hotel in Castro

We stayed for 3 nights. We love walking so the location was fine for us - be aware the hills are steep and it's a fair walk to get restaurants. The staff were really lovely and welcoming. They have a 24hr turn around laundry service which is reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy but we couldn't stand up in the room because of the sloped ceiling (we are average sized!) The shared bathroom was the same. The shower pressure was pretty light and felt a little unclean but maybe it just needed some maintenance (small hole in the floor, door didn't open/close properly, bedroom door locked but was less than reassuring). Very small kitchen. The breakfast was adequate - good bread, cheese and ham, juice, cake, coffee and tea. The outside area was used by the owners the day we arrived which we used later in the evening. The next day the table was put away and everything covered over so there was no outside area available to use which was disappointing. Despite these comments we would stay again, as the title suggests - good...

Un buen lugar para quedarse un par de días. Por solo 20k el servicio cuenta con alojamiento, baño, ducha, desayuno, utensilios de cocina , calefacción y aseo de habitación.

Del mismo modo presenta una habitación cómoda, espaciosa y con buena vista. Tiene televisor cable y con espacio de sobra para guardar ropa. (Ocupamos una matrimonial)

El desayuno tenía de todo: te, café, piña, leche, jamón, queso, cereales, pan de distintos tipos, jugo, etc.

No manejan registros de reservas ni de pagos( recomiendo guardar Boucher de pago o exigir boleta), el desayuno está guardado en papel film desde la noche anterior en el refrigerador el jamón tiene un muy mal sabor por lo mismo, uno de los baños no funcionaba, dudoso cambio de sábanas y lo peor de todo sale mucho gas de la cocina estando en el "mínimo" Cuenta con: Estacionamiento Desayuno incluido 2 baños...
