We stayed it for almost two days. A very ambitious vacation. The Manureva staff (owners) Carola & Manuel are the best. Let start with the breakfast made by Carola, an excellent, delicious, and different every day. It will hold you until lunch. They are anxious for you to get to know the island. They are very proud, and it is not to blame. If you want they arrange for you a rental car below the price of many rental cars. it is highly suggested. Car are better than motorcycle since if it rain, that most probable will, you could keep with your plans since when it is raining in one side of the island most probable it is not in the other side. They would also arrange a reservation so you can enjoy part of the history of the island throughout a dinner/show. They will give a mini tour through the city so you know where to start or end. Room and bathroom are clean and spacious. They will recommend what is best to do every day due to weather changes. Listen to them they know best what places to visit and other not to. The place is a walking distance from the airport, however, they will greet you with a necklace of flowers. They are lovely people and the place is very comfortable. Highly recommended....
Read moreManuela and his staff are exceptional. We were met at the airport, provided a short tour of the town and directed to the sites and events that we were interested in. Don’t let the simplicity of the lodge deter you. If you stay at the bigger, flasher resorts you will miss out on the local culture and total experience of Easter Island. Travelling to Easter Island takes a lot of time and money, so don’t settle for a resort that is not “local”. The rooms are clean, the breakfasts fresh and tasty, and the staff extremely helpful. Over breakfast we met a number of interesting people and gained valuable information about Easter Island and other travel destinations. Want a car; Manual will arrange. Want a nice place to eat; Manual will suggest. Want to visit a beach; Manual will provide directions. Although not a 5 star resort by North American standards, Manureva Nui Eco Lodge compensates with island culture and personal attention. We would not hesitate to stay...
Read moreThis place considers a Bed and Breakfast where Manual and Carolinas were the host. They were VERY hospitable, attentive, responsive. Our group of 8 stayed for 2 nights. We felt completely like staying at our family's place. Manuel showed us on the map the most important attractions to visit first since we were there only 2 nights. When we woke up in the morning, breakfast was ready in the next house where kitchen and dining room were. Carolinas made us hot breakfast and gave us baguette, ha and cheese to pack our lunch while were out and about. Their hospitality was superb! Just remember to bring your own toiletry. Room is spacious, clean, and basics. AC is extra charge but at night it's cool so you may not need AC. Strongly recommended this place. Comfortable, safe, and a cozy environment. This place is very close to the airport. We passed by the airport when we came back to this place. 3 mins...
