Hotel Jham — Hotel in Iquique

After a tour in the altiplano we need a place to rest, looking from outside our impressions were no good, however the room was huge with plenty of space for two beds and organising our luggages. We slept so well the first night that we decided to stay two more nights. Towel hanger almost broken, furniture in need of replacement, but it was indeed a relaxing stay for us.||Breakfast was a good surprise as well, individual portions, simple options but everything was fresh and tasted very good. We dont recommend to dine there though as there are much better options few blocks to the main...

Clean room, private bathrooms, good wifi, QUIET location, 1 block from downtown, easy to get anywhere, concierge service for late night arrivals, free breakfast, would highly recommend - Free breakfast included but served until 10am only, no lunch/dinner offered on premises but lots of great restaurants 1 block away at main Plaza in town - street hotel is located on has fair amount of traffic during day but does die off in the evenings, so not real conflict with noise. We stayed here after reading other positive reviews. We were very disappointed. The one positive was that the hotel was located in a central position. The room lacked both heating and cooling and our window faced west which meant the room became quite hot. The staff spoke no English so no tourist information was forthcoming. Wifi was only available...
