Read moreCannot say enough about our boutique hotel in La Serena, called "Primera Hacienda." Incredibly lovely with just 8 rooms. The owner grew up in the house, which was built by her grandfather. She and her husband have created an oasis in the middle of the city, where we felt like royalty. The dining room toward the back of the property is their newest addition, where they serve amazing dinners (for guests of the hotel only) cooked by her husband, Roberto. I cancelled my booking before the expiration date. They have yet to send my refund as of late January. I tried to call them, but of course they won't answer.
