Convenient airport location, but very disappointing for the price and brand. Check-in flexibility: For an airport hotel, strict 3pm check-in is impractical given overnight flight arrivals. With no nearby alternatives, guests should be accommodated better. Rooms are barebones with poor soundproofing (I could hear full conversations from the next room), and amenities are minimal. Food and drinks are overpriced, breakfast has very little variety despite being an extra charge, and I even had to argue with staff to confirm that my breakfast was included in my booking. The lounge/bar area was poorly maintained (I saw a bug), and the lobby was kept at an uncomfortably cold 17°C during winter. Staff service was mixed - some polite and helpful, but others seemed disengaged and uninterested. Overall, this felt like a budget experience at premium prices, and the hotel needs major improvements in service, food quality, and guest comfort.

This hotel is excellent. The staff is super friendly, and check-in was seamless. The rooms are comfortable with ample workspace, featuring an office-style chair, not just a regular hotel chair, which makes working much easier. The desk is a bit low but still functional, with a conveniently located outlet. The shower heads provide good water pressure, and the temperature is warm. Towels are standard but adequate. The hotel's location is perfect, situated between the domestic and international terminals, yet it's impressively quiet. Despite being here for hours, I haven't heard a single flight. Highly recommend!

This hotel is PREFECT for all of your iPhone 3 charging needs. However If you have updated your phone within the last 15 years, you will find yourself crawling on your hands and knees underneath the bedside table furniture in order to find an AC plug to plug in your phone charger. There is no USB plugs anywhere in in this hotel room. When I get off a flight at 1 o’clock in the morning and my phone is dead, the last thing I want to do is get on my hands and knees and look for an AC charging plug. Also, we reserved a room for four people and lo and behold, three towels. Thanks, Holiday Inn. You the best.

The location of this hotel is so convenient. No shuttle to catch - you just leave arrivals and walk across the pedestrian crossing and you are there. The check in was efficient and welcoming. We found the room comfortable with most of the expected amenities. There was only one coffee sachet and as we had a coffee on arrival could not have one later in the evening. I know I could have probably called house keeping but did not bother. Also we like creamer with our coffee and there were none provided either. In the bathroom there were soap and shampoo and conditioner but no body lotion. These two 'complaints' are minor and did not impact on our stay. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and efficient. There is a sign on a wall that says please wait to be seated which is not really obvious as you walk up to the restaurant. We were waiting to be seated and other customers just walked in and proceeded to a table in front of us. No big deal either as we did not wait too long to be seated and served. I liked the fact that in the morning we could take our bags to the airport and check in and come back and relax for a while instead of having to hang around at the airport for hours as we were on an international flight. The appearance and public areas of this hotel are very pleasant and spacious and there are many comfortable areas, including and outside terrace where you can sit and relax rather than being in your room. The room however was very comfortable. The only negative was when we arrived the aircon was turned down really low and the room was too cold. The location as I said is fantastic and we were concerned about having no where else to go to eat but the quality and price in the restaurant were very good so we were happy to have our dinner and breakfast at the Holiday Inn. It is perfect for passengers in transit or perhaps arriving late at night. I would certainly recommend this...

This is actually my third time staying at the hotel, the first 2 occassions were about 4 years ago and were the night of arrival and the night prior to departure, so had never had the opportunity to fully explore and use the hotel facilities.the stay was by choice as the local office I was visiting for about 5 miles away. First of all for an airport hotel, this is a cut above any other I have used, it would not be out of place in a city centre. It is clean, well maintenance and modern in appearance both in the common areas and the rooms.

The check in was very friendly and efficient and my Ambassador status was recognised, which was very welcome after an almost 24 hours journey from the UK. The bedroom met my requirements fully, the only complaint I would have is that the windows, as they are very large and overlook a public car park require a secondary screening curtain for privacy.

The room was modern and fresh, good and clean bathroom facilities and a very good choice of TV channels, including may english speaking.

The fitness facilities and the pool were good, the only complaint I had was that the sauna was out of action.

I only used the restaurant for the breakfast, which offered a good range and well prepared/presented food. On a evening I used the bar area which offered both a bar menu and the full service menu. On the day of arrival the bar had a jazz duo on for entertainment. Something I have never seen in any other airport location hotel. The bar staff were very efficient and friendly, and you were immediately recognised and welcomed back if you stayed more than one night.

Overall, this is now one of the best IHG hotels I have used, and I have used many, if I ever do return to Santiago I will definitely use this as my hotel of...

Having been dropped off at the Santiago Airport among 7 full bus loads of Holland America cruise passengers with piles of luggage, I am so glad I had elected to spend a restful night here rather than face the horrendous airline check-in lines in the terminal that evening. Located directly across the drive from the international arrivals area, the hotel could not be more convenient for passengers. The check-in process was smooth and fast. When I turned around for my bags, I discovered the bellman had already transferred them to his cart and had taken my luggage trolley away--very slick.

My room was extremely clean and comfortable and I heard no noise at all the rest of the night. My only wish would have been to have an English-language news station on the television; there was none.

For dinner I walked over to the airport to the 24-hour Gatsby's café located above the international check-in area. There was also a convenience store on the main level for purchasing snacks and water. I had breakfast in the hotel which offers a fairly simple buffet arrangement.

My departure was again flawless. I rang from my room for a bellman who brought my luggage down and transfer it to an airport baggage trolley for me. Check-out took a minute--really. Then a quick walk across the drive and up one-level to check-in (much saner in the mornings) and I was on my way home.

The hotel rates are high, but I was fortunate to have Intercontinental member points to cover my stay. Still it's a matter of what price you put on...
