La cabrera Al paso — Restaurant in Pudahuel

WARNING - DO NOT COME HERE! AGIST & RACIST! My girlfriend and I sat at a 4 seater table at a lonely hour of 9:00pm. Two white American men In their 50s are also taking up a 4 seater table in front of us… We then were asked, AND then told to move to the other side of the restaurant because we couldn’t take up 4 seats!! Which is understandable, but when the restaurant is empty?? We were moved to a section of the restaurant that was mostly hidden to the people walking by. My girlfriend and I are American but do not necessarily look “American” which to this waiter I guess is white and English speaking (and neither of us are close to 50 years of age). I didn’t grab this waiters name, but a good amount witnessed this happen.. and that speaks volumes to their integrity and professionalism. Who ever is in charge of this establishment should really check their waiters and train them to treat customers with respect and the same treatment as other guests!! I had quite the disheartening experience at La Cabrera Al Paso. Upon my arrival, I was taken aback by the empty ambiance, which should have been a red flag. My interaction with the staff started on the wrong foot when the waiter expressed dissatisfaction with my choice of a four-seater table for myself, pressuring me to move. I stood my ground and remained at my table.

I anticipated a delightful culinary journey, having ordered the medium rare ojo de bife, but what I received instead was a well-done bife de chorizo that was white on the outside, straying far from my request. Normally my reviews are good, full of enthusiasm and I leave the place happy, but I have to confess, I ordered a "Ravioles de Verdura y Ricota" with a white wine. The food had no taste, no taste at all...nothing at all, I thought I was eating paper. 😅 I noticed good reviews of the meat, well, something must be saved from the disaster that the pasta was!
