We stayed here before and after completing the W trek in Torres Del Paine. This was the perfect accommodation for us. It was quiet, cozy, and comfortable.
The staff members were so helpful and kind. They spoke English well and were able to assist with anything we needed. One of the main reasons we selected this hotel was because we were able to leave our bags there between our stays. This was such a smooth process, they even placed our bags in our room for us when we returned.
We loved that we were close enough for a long walk along the water, but that we also had the ease of taking a taxi when we needed to. The front desk was always able and happy to call for a taxi for us which made it really easy to get around. We typically spent about 4,000 Chilean Pesos to the city center.
This hotel was a bit of a splurge for us, but we would definitely return! The views alone make this worth the investment to stay here. The sunrise was amazing here and we recommend grabbing breakfast one morning as the sun comes up.
Note: At least one review complains about the WiFi. I did not have any issues with this at all - this was one of the better WiFi experiences that I've ever...
Read moreThe hotel is NOT in town, it's too far to walk to town but an easy Uber (if you can get one) this would be made easier if there was reliable (or any) internet in the hotel. There was no wifi in my room at all. I was told if I wanted to use the internet, I should come up to the lobby. The hotel itself is a cool property. But the problems with wifi that have been very well reported, and the fack the hotel hasn't fixed this, make this a "do not risk it" hotel. If you want to be away from all the restaurants, tour operators, shops, and have an 'off the grid' experience, then this may be perfect! But I'd just returned from a week off the grid in the wilderness and needed to catch up with emails etc, so this was a bit of a disaster for me. Very comfortable room and bed though. And nice...
Read moreI dropped my bags on the floor and let out an audible "oh wow" at the room and view. The room, (and the whole hotel, really) was simple and elegant with beautiful touches and astounding views. Breakfast and dinner hit all the right notes (for breakfast: the variety of fresh juices, just-right scrambled eggs, and delicious simple coffee, and for dinner: the sopa de zapallo and the mandarin cheesecake dessert were highlights). The internet connection was spotty - but I bought a cheap eSIM plan (thank you airalo!) and went about my business. It's about a 25-30 min walk along the costanera to get to it from the city center but it's a stunning walk so it didn't bother me at all. I wanted to be friends with a whole staff! They were genuinely so friendly!! I highly...
