Hostal Cepa Noble — Hotel in Santa Cruz

Second time we have been here.......this time just a good as the last..||The rooms are comfortable.....it was 38 degrees when we arrived, but the rooms were not overly hot. The owners are really nice people....they were away this time but the couple standing in were also very nice.|There is a small pool, with towels available.....chairs and tables outside...and a friendly white rabbit, believe it or not. It was eating off the geranium heads when I was in the garden!!!!||Breakfasts are quite good....the usual Chilean fare ...ham, cheese, bread, jam and so on, with scrambled eggs if you want them.||It's a short walk into town, no more than 5 or 10 minutes.||Santa Cruz is a nice place to be....a good ambiance, an unbelievable museum, easily arranged wine tours and a good range of shops.||I think that the owners of Cepa Noble will be able to arrange wine tours if given fair...

My husband and I traveled to the Valle de Colchagua in search of a peaceful place to stay with close proximity to good restaurants and the small vineyards in the area. Hostal Cepa Noble is located on a quiet street in the heart of Santa Cruz, close to the bus station and lots of restaurants. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful with everything from renting bikes for riding to the nearby vineyards to making reservations at local restaurants. ||||The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean with air conditioning which I could see would be a plus if you stayed there during the summer months. Cepa Noble is very well located near to the downtown of Santa Cruz, you can go walking. Don´t expect a luxurious hotel, the room are simply and small but worthy and enough to stay and to take a rest after enjoining the day visiting the superb and several places in Santa Cruz and around. However, the simplicity of the installations is compensated with an excellent service provided by a very kind staff, including the very nice owner – Mister Pablo which comes to speak and have conversations with the guests.
