This boutique, family owned winery is top in the valley. The wine and charcuterie pairings is super enjoyable, and not all of the wineries offer food pairings. I discovered Mantecoso queso here, and with the Carmenere it was lovely. My winner of the day though was the Petit Verdot. You will also be well received by a friendly staff, and if your lucky you may be able to catch the new winemaker Rorro! It’s he’s first vintage but he carries much personality and energetic passion! I’m excited to see what he brings into the already polished wine collection at Laura. This place felt like an absolute hidden gem. We had heard so much about other wineries but not much about Laura Hartwig, and it turned out to be my favorite tour of our time in Chile. Nelson is an INCREDIBLE guide, we learned how to differentiate between different vines, the Laura Hartwig approach to winemaking and a lot about the history of the vineyard and Santa Cruz micro valley. He also taught us a lot about how to sample and try wines in such an accessible manner - I felt like we could ask any question which in some wine tours is intimidating. We just returned from Viña Laura Hartwig vineyard, a local supplier for hotels and restaurants. Our experience was exceptional, thanks to sommelier Camila. She provided insightful information about the vineyard's origins, various grape varieties, and products.

Camila guided us through the winemaking process, taking us to the wine factory and storage area for the barrels. The highlight was the wine tasting at the end, where we sampled three wines under Camila’s expert guidance.
