B&B Omi Kika — Hotel in Villarrica

We stayed in the guesthouse for a few days and it was really worth it. The host speaks German and is very friendly. At the time we stayed there, we were the only guests so it was perfect. Besides I would always recommend to go to Villarrica and not to Pucon. Pucon is the very touristic city and Villarrica is much more charming and quiet. We loved it. We made a bicycle trip to Pucon and back again to Villarrica. We visited the Thermas Geometricas, which is a must to do! They are the best! As it was the last stop until starting our trip back home to Austria, we also loved to just walk around in the city and relax. The guesthouse offers a well equipped kitchen and the view from the breakfast/dining room is amazing. If you are lucky you can see the wonderful Volcan Villarrica without any clouds while dining or taking your breakfast :-). Another trip we made was the Huerquehue National Park, which I can also recommend a lot. This residence transformed into lodging is neither a hostel nor a B&B. Rooms are very basic but overpriced for having to sharing a bathroom and no TV or amenities. Breakfast is bread, butter, jam and coffee, no protein, fruit, juice, the whole point of a B&B is a good breakfast, and this was seriously lacking. There is one small bathroom upstairs to service three large bedrooms with multiple beds. The mattresses are uncomfortable and the room didn't have any shelves or hooks for clothes, not even a wastebasket. The postage-stamp sized kitchen is available for cooking but it has a table and chairs in the middle which makes it even smaller. Location is good, just a block from the water and a nice walking distance to the center of town. Internet signal is poor. Teníamos un curso en Villarica con mi mejor amiga... pero no teníamos donde quedarnos!!! |Buscando y buscando llegue a Omi Kika!!! |Les contaré como fue mi estadía... creo que la resumiré en una sola palabra... mi estadía en Omi Kina fue „Mágica“, para los que no creen en la Magia les explicaré... es un lugar con una energía increíble que al pisar la primera escala de la entrada te inunda el alma y sonríes sin saber porque! Cruzas la puerta de pino Oregón y entras a otra dimensión... Toda la Cabaña es de madera, que mejor, sientes ese calor de hogar desde el primer momento! ||Carlos el dueño es increíble, muy atento, cariñoso, preocupado, te brinda una atención personalizada, no eres un huésped más como en otros lugares, eres un ser de luz que llegó a disfrutar del calor de hogar de Omi Kika y toda la Magia del Sur!!! |Si quieren sumergirte en una cabaña de cuentos este es tu lugar!!! Todo muy impecable, muy cómodo, las piezas exquisitas, los baños muy limpios y acogedores. Todo el lugar irradia luz y es muy luminoso, solo es necesario prender La Luz artificial en la noche... aunque las estrellas lo iluminan entero! |Los espacios comunes como la cocina, el living - comedor y el patio están perfectamente diseñados para que te sientas en paz! Tiene un hermoso jardín creado por Carlos para que al salir al patio te inundes con la flora autóctona del sur... ||Y... las distancias???|La Ubicación es increíble! El lago está a una cuadra caminando y no a una cuadra del sur... Al centro de Villarica llegas en 5 minutos... y si eres de los que te gusta andar en patines tienes acceso a todas las ciclovías desde ahí mismo! Te recomiendo caminar y conocer es muy central, El Barrio es muy tranquilo a toda hora y seguro para los que venimos de la capital (Santiago) que somos desconfiados... ||Realmente si quieres llegar a un lugar donde puedas descansar, relajarte, meditar, disfrutar y vivir una gran aventura, es aquí!
