This is our first 10 days trip to Beijing. We like to stay close to Sanlitun area so we have chosen Metropark hotel. We had made a perfect choice. The checkin was quick. Room was neat and clean, bed was comfy. Bathroom shower was strong, made you feel relax after everyday exploring of the city. Concierge staff was very helpful in every way they could especially Jack Lv who always chat with us on our daily exploration of this capital city. We again thank him and his colleagues and also thank Golden key for his service. ||||Daily breakfast were yummy. Food Varieties were good. Coffee sometimes was warm but you can requested for hot ones. Seat settings are spacious. If possible, could sit next or close by the window to watch the outside view with heavy traffic. This cafe even have a small children playground for kids by the corner. Children can play there while adults can enjoy their breakfast. Seldom see this kind of playground inside a hotel’s cafe, very interesting idea.||||This hotel’s location is about 7 to 10 mins walk from metro station. A very tricky road though, walked out the hotel front entrance, turned left and walked along the road next to the parking lot of this hotel to reach an underpass pedestrian tunnel. Continue to walk for few mins and metro station is on yr left hand side. We noticed that behind this metro station, there is this huge mall with many choices of food and also a supermarket.||||We highly recommend this hotel and hoping one day we will revisit this beautiful capital city and stay at this...
Read moreI recently stayed at the Grand Metropark Hotel Beijing and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The hotel’s prime location in the Sanyuanqiao and Yansha commercial area makes it exceptionally convenient, with just a 10-minute walk to the Beijing International Exhibition Center.
Traveling to Beijing Capital International Airport is straightforward, taking approximately 35 minutes by car, depending on traffic. The hotel’s proximity to major transportation routes ensures easy access to various parts of the city.
A highlight of my stay was the exceptional service at the front desk, particularly from a staff member named Chen Chen晨晨. Despite my friend’s Gold Card status being downgraded last year, which typically affects room upgrade eligibility, Chen Chen went above and beyond to accommodate us. Upon learning that it was my first visit from Australia, she thoughtfully arranged for upgraded high-floor twin rooms with scenic views, situated directly opposite my friend’s room. This personalized attention significantly enhanced our stay, and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the quality of our rooms.
In summary, the Grand Metropark Hotel Beijing offers a convenient location, excellent dining options, and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers seeking comfort and attentive...
Read moreThe lobby is on the 3rd floor, 2 ways of going to lobby is by lift or through an escalator. The lobby is impression and created a grand impression. ||Checked into my hotel room which was on the 12th floor. Stayed there for 4 nights. I did not like the arrangement of the room which make the room look small. The bed was comfortable and the entertainment system seems to have English content but I did not have a chance to use it. ||The rooms have a control temperature of 26C above so at time you may feel a bit warm. ||My main complaint is the finishing for the rooms which was crude for a hotel rating of 5 star. ||The toilet/bath door cannot be used. There was no shower but a bath tub which was one of the highest I have come across. I had to carefully go over it as the possibility of slipping & falling is great. Tooth paste, toothbrush, comb, razor, etc were adequately provided||Breakfast was good. However if you stay there more then 2 days you will get fed up of the food. The menu does not change at all. Similar everyday. ||Location is a bit out from main attraction area but not so much issues as we came as a group incentive trip. ||Would I recommend this place - there may be better...
