Crowne Plaza Foshan — Hotel in Foshan

I would like to say here with great fun everytime. I would like to say thanks for the Atrium Coffee shop at ground floor workers and their managerial staff. I had discussed with them for the arrangement concerning afternoon tea . Really concerning about guest behaviour and if they are wrong, need to remind them. Everyone need to be educated in the right way and not let them think they are right. I suggested the A zone is more suitable for vip guests at there, as more privacy and quiet!

The first day be here to arouse questions to the managerial staff here and the next two days, they was really improved immed and the third day was perfect. Very impressive for the quick action and I am highly recommended this hotel to my friends even they are at Foshan or Guangzhou, as now underground train is more convenient!

One thing that I really hope can improve in future as I found the 1st day at evening time, one of your guest to take cigar at lounge bar ground floor and nobody to remind him about this. All the hotels had prohibted smoking at the lobby and please try your best to remind them and guests also need to behave themselves correctly as the table had marked non smoking.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza , Foshan from 25th March to 30th March 2013.

Was on a visit to source furniture for a project. This Hotel was recommended and booked by our sourcing agent. The Hotel is cenrally located and about 15 - 20 minute taxi drive to the Furniture Malls. For those Indians who prefer Indian food, 2 Indian restaurants are walking distance from this Hotel.

To put my experience in one word will be " Excellent ".

Was very impressed with the quality of service, rooms and food.

Must congratulate the Hotel staff from the Reception, House keeping, IT support and the Chefs and restaurant service for the caliber of efficiency and concern they show towards their guests.

My companions were hardcore Vegetarian folks from India, The Chefs at the restaurant and noodle bar went out of their way to see to it that good serving of Vegetarian food.

As for me I enjoyed the morning breakfast spread which has all the normal Western items like breads, eggs, donuts, yogurts etc. etc. plus a range of Chinese items which one must try, especially the fresh noodle bar. Also lots to choose in fruits, salads, conge, fried rice, noodles , sushi etc.

Will recommend this place to all. Will stay here again if I go back to Foshan again.

Stayed in this hotel for more than 5 years - once a year during Canton fair. Since that time average rate almost increased to HI's in Guangzhou, but before it was at least twice less. Food was best 4 years ago - when manager from IHG (probably) was pushing all stuff very hard. Now food on dinner became worse - less choice of vegetables ( ex. no tomatoes), less choice of main course, nothing "special" like it was before. About 8 p.m - some dishes already missing. Thanks a lot for 50 RMB voucher and making free alcohol drinks on dinner, but you better work on main course. Rooms getting old and seems they are not going to renovate them soon. Found that this OCT less people come with goal to visit fair and stay in hotel. This means less shuttle buses/ less flex to guests. Like very much huge spa area - for massage. Gym is awful. Can you buy some weights? couple more griffin and bench? I think thats not big investment. Hotel NEVER tell you there is a free shuttle bus from ferry terminal - they say we don't recommend you to use taxi, better use hotel car. And it is 500 RMB.
