Worth a visit. I don't know where to begin..... Historically this used to be an ancestral temple complex turned into a cultural center and museum. For many overseas Chinese familiar with the cultural lunar new year festivals, here's something that we may not realize: lion dance along with tit da (bone, ligament and muscle therapy aka traditional Chinese sports medicine) are intricately linked with Southern style kungfu (nan chuen). Then there's Cantonese Opera. Everywhere where the Cantonese diaspora went, they carried this culture with them. In Ipoh, there's a center dedicated to it diagonally across Magic Mountain bean curd shop. Here, Wan Fu hall is perhaps possibly the Carnegie Hall of Cantonese Opera and to have performed here would be an honor, connecting with the source of the art. There's a museum next to the pavilion showcasing local customs and religion adhered to in the past and a big oil drum size firecracker for illustration. So this place show case a facet of Chinese culture some overseas Chinese are either familiar with and take for granted. For those who grew up with Wong Fei Hung and Ip Man genre of films, this place may pique your interest.

My suggestion visited after 10 am to catch the 2pm show as I reached 10:05am lion dance performance already started and is super crowded by tour groups. Stand behind in front, also blocked by people, so it is difficult to take videos and photos. The ticketing building had to walk 30m away from the entrance as I took the metro to here. Have to show either their IC or tourist passport then can purchase ticket CNY20. Huangfeihong MemorialHall, 黃飞鸿纪念馆. Lion dance performance,3performance, 10-10:40am , 14:15-14:55, 15:30-16:10, is a must to watch lion dance. 20mins after the lion dance, they will practice, so I stayed a bit to watch.

Probably the most important attraction in FoShan for fans of Kungfu master Huang Fei Hoong with daily performance of lion dance and some Kungfu acts which is free to watch, quite a big place with one building displaying a list of all Hong Kong movies made about him.
