Tianhe Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

Thee location could not have been better for my trip, which was visit to the UK passport office, literally the next building but one along Tiyu West Rd. There was a bit of frustration at check-in due to a lack of English speaking staff; They tried their best to be helpful, and were very pleasant, but then again I have not learnt enough Chinese to better manage these formalities. Another slight frustration was lack of internet access. I believe the problem might have been a weak signal, although I did not pursue the matter; for a 2 night visit this hardly mattered. The room was very comfortable, good shower/bathroom room. I visited the restaurant on my first morning but opted to walk to the nearby Starbucks for a breakfast; to me, the morning buffet was quite limited, with no 'Western' options. Overall an excellent place to stay, better if I could happily eat a Chinesee style breakfast!!. Best Metro stop is Linhe West, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel....if you chose the correct exit; from memory this should exit 'B'!!! Maybe the hotel, of Trip.com could add these details to...

This was only a one night stop, but the same friendly and efficient check-in as my previous visit.The room was spotless, the beds comfortable and the A/C worked just fine...although I did switch it off after cooling down.I have already recommended this hotel to my other UK friends here in Beihai, especially if they need to visit the UK visa/passport office nearby.If you could pass on recommendation to the hotel:- it would be very helpful for them to provide a clear guide on how to use the television for foreign guests; it took me nearly 40 minutes of surfing through the numerous channels before I found a few movies in English. There were other 'Western' made movies in some of the channel listings, but most of those of interest (to me) had been dubbed...

Hi ||||I have been travelling regularly to Guangdong province for the business and one has to come and stay in Guangzhou for few days during the Canton fairs . The Location is very good Up market Tianhe Area, ||||The rooms are neat and clean , ample morning breakfast to fill your stomach . The prices are high during the fair but you cannot help it as its the case with most of the Hotel during the fair time. ||||The Hotel has a free Shuttle to and from the fair . Its like any other business Hotel . Can think of staying here and see the facility when the fair...
