Our Event:||||As Shanghai begins its recovery from COVID-19, we were so impressed to see all of the efforts made by the Bellagio team to check temperatures, provide masks as needed, register guests and constantly sanitize the guest areas. These safety measures combined with the breathtaking Atrium, facilities and exceptional service provided by Bryan (Event Sales Manager) it was easy for us to confirm to host our event here! Bryan and his team worked closely with us for every single detail to ensure the event would be a success; he was on standby from the early morning together with his colleagues to make sure we had everything we needed - he was AMAZING! I need to also highlight that Lilian (Director of Events) Sunny (Director of Sales) Juni (Assistant VIP Manager) Simon (Front Office Manager) were also so welcoming, appreciative of our business, and provided exceptional service to our guests who requested to have a tour of the hotel. Lastly, a huge thank you to the Culinary Team for a gorgeous and delicious coffee break and Frank from the Banquets team who provided exceptional and attentive service - he and his team had huge smiles, were professional and ensured each guest had plenty to eat and drink. ||||Our Stay:||||Bellagio's tagline is "nothing short of unforgettable" and our staycation was just that. With not being able to travel outside of Shanghai, the Bellagio was a perfect venue to host our event combined with a weekend staycation escape. We were welcomed personally by Simon (Front Office Manager) and Elly (Front Desk) who were both full of smiles, remembered us by name each time we met and made us feel really at home. (Thank you Simon and Elly - you are Stars!) The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, clean, well-appointed and every detail makes you feel all of the glamour of the Bellagio brand. Highly recommend you reserve a room with a view of the creek and Bund! ||||We had a chance to enjoy the signature cocktails at Lago (we LOVE "Under the Sea") and Chef Giulio personally visited the table to ensure we enjoyed our meal (highly recommend the burrata cheese and gnocchi dishes, we will be back to try more!) BTW the rooftop is always packed and reservations are highly recommended. Breakfast had plenty of variety (western and Chinese options), quality and amazing views of the Bund and Suzhou Creek. It was lovely to be welcomed by smiling faces and attentive service in the morning! ||||We live and work in Shanghai and were blown away by the feeling that you can feel like you have escaped when staying at the Bellagio - the pool, jacuzzi, saunas and changing rooms were so "spa-like" with total and complete relaxtion. I was also very impressed by the changing room attendant who introduced me to the facilities with a huge smile and was on standby to ensure the changing area was 100% clean and tidy and that I had everything I needed. ||||As an event organizer and hotel guest, this hotel lives up to it's motto "nothing less than unforgettable". After experiencing many hotels/ venues, you know a hotel is being run well when the General Manager is present everywhere. One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at. Stayed there for 2D1N on March 6 2025 with my partner for our anniversary and booked the city view room with the balcony! The views were great and the Bellagio team gave us a special surprise in our room. The rooms were luxurious and the amenities provided were great. I was checked in and served by a tall slim Chinese guy with glasses (sadly didn’t get his name) and his service was top-notch! We asked him about the promotional events going on at the hotel (Panda collaboration) and he helped us purchase the panda plush that we were looking for and also ensured that we were able to pay in cash (to avoid the 3% international card charge) and also helped us make reservations at the hotel’s restaurant and even gave us a free gift, the Bellagio lion plushie after showing interest in purchasing it!We also went for the hotel breakfast; They have the buffet section (which is quite small) and the made-to-order menu. Although the buffet section is small, everything I ate was at the highest quality and the made-to-order food tasted amazing as well.All in all, because of my 2 days here, I have became a lifelong fan of Bellagio Shanghai and will be staying here the next time I’m back in Shanghai!
