Top notch service with great food!

What a wonderful hot pot experience! We didn't have any reservations but luckily they offer a waiting area and they keep you topped off with snacks and tea. The food itself was superb, make sure you order the noodles as not only was it tasty you also get a bit of a performance included!

Our server we had was fantastic! He helped us with our ordering and showed us all the proper etiquette to eating hot pot as we were clearly amateurs. He made sure to always assist us and was sure that everything was perfect for us. I only wish we had customer service like this back in Canada. I had an exceptional experience at Haidilao in Shanghai. The service surpassed all expectations – from the warm welcome with a cold beverage and clean warm towel to the attentive waitress who carried our shopping bags to our seats. The observant staff offered a hair rubber band for the lady guests, an alcohol glass cleaner for my eyeglasses, and a set of aprons to prevent any spills on our clothes and bags. Being new to hot pot, was a skeptic about the hygiene factor. Mixing vegetarian food and meat isn't my kind of experience or anything that is particularly interesting.

However, was pleased to know that vegetarian hygiene can be maintained in a sanctimonious manner, Inspiring of the plethora of animals cut up and consumed at the same table.

What is good is that you can mix n match your accompaniments and boy do they have a fantastic selection of Flavour, spices and assorted garnishes.
