IntercityHotel Shanghai New International Expo Center — Hotel in Shanghai

Hotel very nice, great hospitality, staff genuinely responsive. Room spacious, with sensible thematic but comfy minimalism design. I particularly like the hair blower, constant heat and never overheated; as well as the Intellight Toilet has moderate warm seat and very effective auto flush ( and pre flush) sensor, just cool. The air conditioning is good too. Felt it clean and balanced. Staff interactions was extra bonus for me; I really appreciate Tan, whom I called up when the room on the upper floor had the number not in order and I could not find, he and Nia Te patiently sort another room for me; that was near to perfect. Whilst I requested various items more, they could attend and respond quickly along with the robot helper. I thought three day work trip could be tiresome but their attentiveness and sensible suggestions cheered me up!!

As I was leaving the hotel, Ms Gao patiently helped revert and arrange my shuttle too as I explained to her my luggage was no easy to carry to the Longyang MTR which had no lift but just staircase, might not be suitable for taking me to, based on their initial arrangement.

Applause to all these hotel staff!!! They lighted up my Shnaghai stay!

I think the location was not perfect, like the mall nearby had no necessities shop nor super market, later on I discovered a 7- 11 on the backyard though. Good thought it is still near the expo which meet my needs, but still they are not as near as the other two hotels with expo nearness highlighted. As such the staff, service and environment along with good price become blessings for intercity hotel business. Keep it...

I love it❤️. It’s neat. The breakfast bouquet is amazing because they offer a variety of food, delicious food, western and local cuisine.

There’s a language barrier though. But the receptionists have apps on their phones that translate to English (in our case)

The rooms have lots of smart features, (smart tv, smart lights, smart mirrors, smart toilet pots). The problem is, there’s no transition of the instructions how to use...
