Finally found a relatively quiet hotel near Century Park! Stayed in a Premier room (with windows onto the central circular courtyard) which was almost like a small suite. The biggest advantage we found over the neighbouring Kerry Hotel was that there was much less disruption of our sleep by neighbouring customers letting doors slam, when we were trying to get much-needed sleep after travelling. The room wasn't very modern, very much an older 'angular dark wood surfaces, no carpet' style, but was very clean and comfortable nonetheless and the AC worked just fine. Was encouraged to see other non-Chinese staying at the hotel. Breakfast was good, with a reasonable number of Western options. We initially found it quite difficult to get the extra pillows we requested, but our persistence paid off. The English comprehension level of the desk staff generally was only moderate, but the concierge and the lady running the excellent hotel gym understood...

Nice hotel with rustic wood flooring. The office desk was massive and built into the wall. The shelf above the desk had a beautiful vase to add to the relaxing decor. The tv shelf was a floating shelf which means it's attached to the wall instead of resting on table legs. This is great because some people can accidentally bump their feet on the TV cabinet. There was a sitting area with a couch and beautiful glass coffee table by the window looking out on an amazing aerial view of the convention center across the road. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The pillows were the perfect softness. The bathroom had a wonderful tub, separate shower/rain shower, and separate toilet with emergency phone. The bath mat was a wonderful, soft, fur-like bath mat. Normally hotels just have a special towel for the floor, so the soft bathmat was awesome! Will definitely recommend this hotel, and I plan to visit again...

This hotel is very near to Shanghai New International Exhibition Center SNIEC. Outside and opposite side are Subway stations. This is very conveniently located hotel for those who are visiting SNIEC Expo. It is my third fourth time staying at Jumeirah Himalayas, but this time the hotel was only Himalayas and Covid has broken many bonds. The hotel staff was very nice. The reception staff spoke good English, but rest of the staff was purely Chinese speaking. The breakfast was with many options, luckily there was a good portion of English breakfast. The concierge and Gym staff were exceptional. Overall a great visit after 6 years. Rooms are spacious and cleanliness is very good. Outside views are good, but hotel with inside views also have a good central view in morning. There is a executive lounge for Club rooms guest, otherwise RMB 400 is charged per person, it is on 21st floor...

Selected this hotel due to proximity to China Joy exhibition. Rooms are large and generally confortable. F&B service at best average. From my 3 night stay and observation, breakfast and lounge team lacks procedure and SOP. Coffee dispensing machines needed cleaning and emptying (2 out of 3 i could see), noodle and egg station staff not comfortable in handling english speaking guests, charging of breakfast to room was a chore. We had meetings with guests in our rooms and room service was so slow we had to cancel it. Lounge staff took drink orders for seven of us, didnt write it down, so had to revert to us for our orders twice. Hotel management, especially F&B needs to really step up service. Food was at best average. I would suggest trying Kerry hotel instead.

No doubt the hotel is great but a bit over priced. Guess most of the visitors are the business visitors who visit the exhibition center across the road. Big spacious rooms which are neat and tidy. The staff is courteous. the breakfast buffett is lavish. The resturant menu has loads Indian vegeterian dishes as well. The hotel is about 40 minutes drive from the Shnghai international airport. A full fledged market is right opposite to the hotel with multiple eating options and numerous massage parlours where you may want to spend an hour after a long day at exhibition. The hotels SPA is very expensive vis a vis the options right outside. Overall had a decent stay.
