The hotel is not bad in location, equipment and decorations but the service I got really didn't deserve them. I drank coffee at room because the breakfast coffee tasted terrible and also one day I saw a cockroach climbing outside the coffee machine. Therefore, everyday I left some coffee mud in the cup, for 5 days, I had to wash the cups in the room by myself. (My colleagues had the same treat). Only on the 6th day, I received a note from my "housekeeper" who claimed that the clean lady was not sure whether she should clean my cups because of these residues... Well, right beside the coffee cup that day, I left another cup with a used tea bag, it seemed like that the clean lady was also not sure whether she should wash a cup with a soaked tea bag (no tea inside)...i see, she is a doubter.||Nevertheless, not like other hotel, my sleep wear left on bed appeared everyday in different places (or should I say, floor and corners) in a same way: rubbed into a ball. For 7 days, it's like a game between me and the clean lady called "where u throw my sleep wear today". On the opposite, one of my colleagues who happened to live on the executive floor, his clothes have been taken out from his suitcase and sent to laundry without permission just because he used the hotel laundry bag to put dirty clothes. Again, it was taken from his suitcase!||One day, I left room in a rush and didn't lock the door (the door alarm didn't beep). So my room had been straight opening to everyone live on the same floor for almost 2 hours till I returned. (Luckily nothing has lost). Next day I met an old lady in hotel uniform (maybe my "housekeeper") when I left the room. "You left your door opened all night, you know that?" she laughed at me. I don't see any reason to laugh at me at this point, shouldn't it be your responsibility to lock the door for your guest after you realized that the guest didn't mean it? It's a shame for a hotel costs 150 dollars per night that the staff only knows how to laugh at guests.||After all, I felt very happy to check out. Btw, the 2 boys in concierge were the only normal hotel staff. I was waiting for a taxi at lobby while chatting with this security staff. Once he knew that I was trying to catch the last fast train leaving the city, he told me something like it takes at least 30 minutes to the train station this time (10pm) and u r definitely going to miss the train. He also kept telling me to take train from a much further station which according to him "only less than 20min if u take the metro". I had lived in Shenzhen for a while (luckily) but I don't understand till today why he told this wrong information to me. Luckily, the taxi arrived and brought me away from this nut. 11 minutes to train station.||As for sure, I will not return this hotel. It's...
Read moreHotel was good, but they asked for 1000 RMB security deposit. i respect their policy, but they must mention it at the time of booking. I am traveling from India and like me, who are coming from out of china, might not have this much RMB in their pocket. If they had mentioned it at the time of booking, I would have been made provision to provide security deposit and bought it when I was in India. Apart from this, they don't have any staff, who can fluently talk in English. Although, one person was able to understand only few words in english, but he didn't understand completely what I was trying to say. Every time, they pull up online translator and ask us to speak in that, then they speak and ask us to listen translation. If they want to provide international service, they must employ few staff who can able to understand and speak english. Apart from this, room was good, wifi was good, room were clean and no noise disturbance. All the things were quite good, but I had given three star only because of...
Read moreAlthough it is a big hotel with pretty hefty prices, it is not that amazing. We asked for a smoke free room and as we entered the room it was clear to us that it was not free of smokers smoke. Changed rooms - got a better one - but then realized that in the bathroom the fan is connected to other smoker fans so we had a smoke free room with a smokers bathroom. ||||Staying there you could really see that when the hotel was new it was a great hotel but over time it has amortized and no renovations have been made. ||||Despite all that, the staff was friendly, some of them actually spoke English (not that this is something they would have to do) and they helped us in all the...
