Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre Youth Hostel — Hotel in Shenzhen

Arrived without major difficulties but the man (presumably owner) didn't have a bed available yet (fortunately this was early evening) as someone else hadn't checked out yet. Lots of stuffing around ensued but several hours and continued pestering from me had him remove the other person's stuff from "my" bed. ||||Whilst I finally ended up getting a bed (and the bed was comfy although not exceedingly clean) the process was worrying and I was preparing to move to another hostel or hotel because of it. ||Single bathroom was adequate, Wifi worked reasonably well in room. Communal area was present but atmosphere non-existent. ||||Location is perfect if you want the convention centre, but not if you want much else. Train is a decent 20 minute walk and I could not find any markets or interesting food outlets near the hostel's mansions, although there is a KFC and Pizza Hut around the corner.||||Mansion and area felt safe although a little ratty in parts.||||Overall, a passable stay in a poorly managed (bookings-wise, as my experience does not seem to be an isolated one), sterile but...

J'ai passé 3 nuits dans cette auberge de jeunesse qui en réalité est un appartement avec plusieurs chambre. La personne qui vous accueil est très aimable et n'hésite pas à vous donner des conseils pour se situer dans la ville de shenzhen. Comme toutes les auberges de jeunesse vous rencontrerez pas mal de monde venu des quatres coins du monde. Bon séjour dans l'ensemble.
