Stayed here one night on business. The rooms are nice, there's no trace of cigarette smell on the non-smoking floors. One slightly odd detail is the inclusion of a packet of condoms as part of the minibar/bathroom products for sale in the room. ||The staff are friendly, a few speak good English. I was welcomed in my room with a complimentary bowl of fruit, which was nice. ||The breakfast spread is good quality, but they don't have the sheer size of some other buffets I have seen. ||One slightly frustrating issue is the fact that there is another Grand Skylight hotel just down the road. Taxi and Uber drivers are more familiar with the other hotel. The hotel doesnt really look like that new from the outside, as we arrived we doubted if we have gone to the wrong place. The hotel located next to a residential area, 2-3 small stores nearby. Close to One Avenue, but not walking distance. Check in was smooth, staff knew minimal English though. The hotel has a aviation theme at the lobby. The room itself was fine, we had a double bed plus some sitting area. Room was spacious. Throughout the stay the minibar was available for free for us, and they extended check out time to 2pm for us.
