Shenzhen Bay Kapok Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

The hotel I mentioned is the branch hotel known to be Hotel Kapok Shenzhen Hauhai located at No.5, Anwan Three Road, Nam Shan District, Shenzhen.||||On entering the front portion of the hotel would find oneself in a well furnished library. The reception is located inside the library area quite different from a normal hotel reception. Am given a double bedroom on the 17th floor. ||||On the lobby area leading to the rooms there is a large table and the walls appeared to be fitted with lockers. One would wander as to where he has gone to.||.||The room covers quite a large area and there is also a separate cubicle for change of clothing. The main window is facing the Main Street with a nice sofa bed for leisure. Instead of having a working/office desk there placed an oval shape glass table. A plate of fruit is also served. On the room entry there is a separate tea pantry which one can prepare Chinese and English tea. The bath and washroom is also well furnished. There is a bathtub as well as a shower place. On the whole the room setup is equivalent to a four stars hotel.||||The room is definitely clean and tidy and is well graded to suit any couple for a good and comfortable night. ||||A place is well to be...

The rooms are really big and cleaned every day but the interior is very outdated. The tv is very small (no english channels) and the airco isn't working properly. The bathroom is also very clean. The hotel is located just outside the Golden coast shopping mall (15 min walk) and next to a stadium. Because of the close distance of the shopping mall, taxi's won't come to the hotel to pickup guest. Even the friendly reception says you have to walk. Stayed here for 3 nights for the first time since we will be watching a concert at the stadium next door. The location is very good since it is next to the stadium and there is a shopping mall nearby. All within walking distance. The room is quite spacious. The beds are comfy, just that the pillow are too soft for me. No bidet in the toilet and that is a minus point from me. The bathtub is huge and the water pressure for shower is strong with hot water.
