The MixC Shenzhen – A Retail Wonderland with Theme Park Vibes 📍 Nanshan District, Shenzhen Visiting The MixC in Nanshan felt like stepping into a cross between a luxury shopping haven and a miniature theme park. This isn’t your typical mall — it’s an experiential destination that seamlessly blends indoor elegance with outdoor excitement, almost like Universal Studios meets Rodeo Drive. From the moment you approach, you’re greeted by a vibrant open-air promenade with themed architecture, playful lighting, landscaped pathways, and even building facades that look straight out of a movie set. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself constantly looking up, taking photos, and discovering hidden gems around every corner. Once inside, the interior is ultra-luxurious — sleek, modern, and immaculately designed. You’ll find super high-end flagship boutiques like Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Dior, Prada, Van Cleef & Arpels, and many more. It’s a true paradise for luxury lovers, with exclusive selections and immersive storefronts that elevate the shopping experience. But what makes MixC special isn’t just the brands — it’s the ambience. There’s a sense of space, creativity, and indulgence, whether you’re browsing couture, grabbing a designer coffee, or just strolling under the open sky. At night, the light shows on surrounding buildings add a magical energy to the whole complex — I highly recommend viewing it from the bridge at Talent Park for the full effect. Also worth noting: MixC is just a very short walk from Raffles Shenzhen, which makes it the perfect luxury stopover for hotel guests. ✨ Final Thoughts: Whether you're here to shop, dine, or simply people-watch, The MixC Shenzhen is an unmissable stop. It offers an elevated, almost cinematic retail experience that rivals top global shopping destinations. Come for the fashion, stay for the fantasy. 🎥👜

Was very excited to visit as I read about the opening of a new phase of the mall. As a mall, MixC Nanshan had a bit of everything. At first, I thought it was a cluster of strip malls. There were the usual luxury brands but the various displays made exploring/browsing less mundane. Given the size of the place, it was really helpful to have electronic touchscreen directories everywhere. Managed to find a really nice, cosy cafe to rest my tired feet. Once you go into one of the buildings, the mix of tenants change to a cluster of mainly local brands: food, tech, fashion, retail, etc. Despite spending 3 hours there, I don’t think I was able to cover more than 50% of the whole place. The minimum I wanted to do was to cover all the recommended places by the directory (aka 打卡 in local lingo) and I achieved that. Will highly recommend to tourists who want to acquaint themselves with local brands in a comfortable and spacious setting, although it is going to be hard on your feet! If your goal is to explore the local F&B brands, I suggest Coco Park at Futian. Edit: Couldn’t find the cafe I visited - it’s named 元古 and I have added some photos here. It offers fusion food and eclectic tea flavours. I also had a sip of one of their cocktails here. Definitely worth a visit: good vibes, chill ambience and excellent food!

Thai Boat Noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ) is a popular Thai dish known for its rich and flavorful broth. Originally served on boats in Thailand, this noodle soup typically contains small portions of noodles, often rice noodles, and is served with a variety of meats such as beef .The broth is made from a combination of herbs, spices, rich flavor. The dish is usually accompanied by a range of toppings like bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime, chili, and sometimes fried garlic or chili oil.
