Uniton Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

Hotel is on the Shangbu middle road. Its difficult to find as the english board is not visible from the outside.But its on the main road .||Good things= 1] On the main road and near to electronics market ,cctv market computer market cell phone market etc. Just about 1 km.walking distance.||2]Near to metro station kexeguaan[ Science museum].||3]Room service and staff responce is good.The staff helped us to find taxi several times.Positive attitude.||4]Booked the hotel through ctrip.com. the check procedure was smooth [ accept languange]||5] Room cleaning , housekeeping overall is ok.||lot of eateries like KFC Macdonadns on the nearby Shennan road ||Cons=1] Staff cant speak english.so very difficult to communicate.||2]Room given to us was small in size.Little cumbersome for international travellers.||3] Breakfast is chinese . So if you are foreigner its tought for you. You dont get bread butter, jam etc.||Mostly all chinese dishes. You may get 1 or 2 fruits in the breakfast.|| Even the the nameplates [ of dishes] are in chinese.||The rates are also not very cheap.||Overall decent hotel...

i had stayed there for 3 night last week.The location of the hotel is perfect, 5 win walk to the metro station and it's in the same line with airport. We were very much regret not to take metro to the hotel when we arrived at the airport, taking the metro is so easy there and the fare is cheap. So if someone happen to stay at this hotel, go for metro. Taxi fare there is quite expensive and travel time almost same with metro. I don't know how many star for this hotel but the price really good, our room (business executive room) wasn't big, but enough for 2 of us. The room and the toilet are clean, water pressure is good. One thing i love most of this hotel is the pillow, is soft but not too soft, just nice. Check in and check out service is fast, the stuffs are friendly. There are many restaurant nearby (10-15mins walk), from street food to decent restaurant. For those who like electronic or handphone accessories , you can walk to huachiangbei, it will take about less than 20 min. Safety there is not a issue, we even see young lady walking...

We stayed here on business for a week, and I must say this is a very poor hotel... Not very close to the main city area. Very average rooms, it was like staying in a cheap motel!! Breakfast was disgusting!!!..They do not cater for westerners at all...The first time we went for breakfast I almost threw up, it smelt terrible. Even though our room included breakfast we said "no thanks"....Staff are not very friendly, only 1 person speaks english. No coffee supplied, no spoon. only tea....The fridge is a bar fridge on the floor near the door, was not even plugged in when we arrived. I bought coffee and housekeeping did not even empty or clean my cup for 2 days...Beds were very hard and we had a view of the carpark. Only for the chinese I would say. It was reasonable, but I would rather pay more somewhere else. Not...
