Had a wonderful experience over the course of my week long stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I was able to check in early and extend my stay without issue. The suite was well organized without wasted space, beautifully designed and very comfortable. My only criticism is the double bed, for a corner suite with such a breathtaking view of the mountains I couldn’t get over the fact that my feet had to hang off the bed. A queen bed could have fit the space even if it were a little more cramped. Other reviews complained of street noise and the upstairs bar but with the blinds drawn it really cuts out the noise. They also have a nespresso machine in the room to brew up delicious local coffee along with other drinks and snack options in the mini fridge. Amenities were also a highlight here, the gym and sauna room were wonderfully clean and equip. The concierge also provides transportation with reliable individuals and money exchanging services (at a higher rate than you would at a western union in town) but provides you with the convenience and security of not having to transport any large quantities of cash with you. The floors are sectioned off with key card access to each floor via the elevator and posted security in the main lobby at all times. The rooftop bar was an oasis after a long day out in town. The downstairs coffee lounge was light and airy with hanging plants and a decent breakfast selection from the American breakfast of eggs, bacon or cheese, croissant and toast or arepa or choclo waffle, fruit plate, fruit juices and hot coffee or chocolate or a yogurt and granola option. There is Wi-Fi in the rooms but it was spotty on the balcony (probably from the thick concrete construction) but I had an amazing time and can not...
Read moreOverall, we had a very positive experience at this hotel. The entire hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, helping us as much as they could. We took the family room, which actually ended up being two rooms with massive beds and two bathrooms. I've seen other comments state that there was no hot water, however we didn't face that problem. It was very well located, the street was not as noisy as people make it out to be, and we were able to get a good night's sleep. The hotel was in a very nice area, however it was just distant enough to the hustle and bustle of the center of town to make a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious and comparable to a traditional home-cooked Colombian meal. We faced a couple of issues which were that the drain in one of our showers did not work very well, and that neither of our safes functioned properly. Other than that, this was a great stay that my family very...
Read moreWorst location for foreigner, nothing around the hotel and scary in the evening/night time. Don't take the room to the street because you can not sleep and to change they ask you more money (at the end they change for me for free). Service and personnel are nice but the hotel have several problem, 1 just 2 elevetor for all the office building, the restaurant bar on the roof and for maintenance, elevator was broken since Thursday and don't go to 6th floor (Hotel floor), when you have hot water doesn't work well, the location is really bad, look like no hotel management on spot, breakfast don't have to many option but the people work in the "Mosto" they are super nice. Take this hotel just if you have a car, not in rush for business and like car noise or if you are on the other side you like loud...
