Icónico Terraza — Restaurant in Armenia

I wish i could give 0 stars. The place is beautiful, yes, but the service is terrible and the experience we had was one of the worst we've ever had. We've lived in NYC and in Miami and this place tries to emulate the rooftop experience of those big cities but it's just a shell of the real deal.

We payed the place to reserve it for a cocktail welcoming party for about 80 guests for our wedding weekend. On the date of the event the manager had the date wrong and therefore there was NOTHING ready of what we had planned and payed for. We had to share the floor with other customers, they didn't have our special menus printed, and the servers were clueless. Next, the manager did nothing to ammend the situation and completely ignored the chaos the ensued. Additionally, my fiancee had hired two preformers to sing at our event, but because it wasn't "our night" due to the mix-up of dates, the manager did not allow the singers to come in and said that their "style did not fit the ambience". He made them feel rejected and the whole situation was borderline segregatory which in other countries would have led to a law suit. So we had to eat the cost of our performers anyway... My fiancee almost cried of the frustration.

In the end, like I said, the experience we had was terrible and they style themselves as a high-end boogie rooftop with Miami/NYC prices and attitude but their service is below a...

Really nice place when you walk in. Awesome views. But DO NOT book an event at this place. They are not ready to manage a big group. There was a guy that seemed to be one of the owners which we complaint and told us to go see the manager. Never cared to make sure our group was serviced properly. Not the best experience after we were told that this was the place to be in Armenia. When I got back to Miami I was talking to another friend who also happens to be from Armenia. I told him about our experience at this place and he also told me his visit and experience wasn't the best either. If businesses in Armenia want to cater to a high clientele please make sure you are not just taking care of your friends that go there. Also make sure your service is the same for outsiders who we happen to tell other friends back home about places to go to when they travel to Armenia. Une superbe découverte à Armenia ! La terrasse de ce restaurant est tout simplement spectaculaire. La vue sur les montagnes est magnifique, et au coucher du soleil, c’est magique : le soleil descend à droite, pile dans l’axe de la terrasse, créant une ambiance inoubliable.

L’endroit est très bien aménagé, avec une déco soignée, des meubles confortables et un superbe bar qui donne du cachet à l’espace. J’y suis allée deux soirs de suite et j’ai adoré à chaque fois.

La cuisine est très correcte : j’ai goûté au guacamole et à deux types de sandwichs, c’était bon et bien présenté. Les cocktails, quant à eux, sont excellents — originaux, bien dosés et vraiment savoureux.

Le service a été impeccable. Les deux soirs, les serveuses ont été attentionnées, souriantes et très professionnelles. Il y avait aussi un DJ sur place, ce qui ajoutait une belle ambiance sans que ce soit trop bruyant.

En résumé : une très belle expérience, que je recommande vivement. J’y retournerai...
