HOTEL INTERAMERICANO — Hotel in Barranquilla

fair price during carnaval||+ very friendly and helpful staff (can book transportation to Santa Marta, help with carnaval events etc.)||+ fridge in room||+ fast Wifi||+ breakfast included||||Colombian people are the friendliest in the world so if you get the chance to get to know someone they normally are very open and hospitable. We got to know a familiy (via a friend of a friend in facebook) who invited us to their house in Barranquilla and even to a private carnaval/birthday party and they showed us the carnaval activities.||||We would stay there again during carnaval if we only need a fair priced hotel. The hotel is basic and the rooms relatively small. Compared to colombian standards the room is in good condition and clean but dont expect a 4-star european boutique style room. The neighbourhood is not the safest during night but if you go by taxi that does not matter. As the carnaval activities are spread out you would need a taxi...

Great place the owner and the workers are all very nice. That you do your room every day, they have a restaurant and the location is pretty good. Any restaurants bars and stores all very close. It is definitely a great deal. They also have rooms for one person or up to five at all...

El peor servicio, llegamos desde Cartagena en bus y reservamos por booking entendiendo que la hora a la que podríamos entrar era complicado el check in , aún así ellos confirmaron la reserva a través de la aplicación ,llegamos a las 12 de la noche confiados que la reserva había sido confirmada por parte del hotel (tengo evidencia de todo esto ) y que es lo que hacen ? Decir aquí no hay nada váyase dejando a una persona sola en pleno centro histórico , a las 12 de la noche en una zona bastante peligrosa expuesto a que lo robaran o pasara algo mucho peor.
