Hotel American Visa Boutique — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

Was put up here for one night by Avianca following a flight cancellation. The rooms are decent with a large king size bed, comfortable mattress and warm duvet, the shower has good water pressure and had plenty of hot water when I used it. The breakfast is pretty good. I was served a nice dinner when I got in even though it was quite late and they accommodated me. The staff are all very friendly. The only issue I have with the place is the noise is terrible - there's no sound proofing between the rooms and the hallway, can hear music and people talking and moving all night, the doors also sometimes let off a weird alarm that sounds like a police siren, so unless you have the best earplugs on earth do not expect any sort of decent night's sleep here! If they sorted out the noise issue they would deserve a higher rating but for now I wouldn't recommend anyone I know to stay here if they...

Would give less if possible. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Arrived in the rain and the shower was Luke warm, it took 5 hours and multiple requests to get hot water. My room 106 was right next to the reception and there is no sound proofing. I asked the front staff to please be quiet 4 times and they just Ignored me. Staff chatting and laughing again at 2am in reception refusing to sit somewhere else and talk so guests can sleep. I played ocean noises through the tv to drown out the sound but it was not enough as they just increased their volume and laughter. It was now 3am, in a hotel… This place is terrible!!! Got up at 6:30 to no warm water… The food was okay and the kitchen staff were very nice other than that this hotel...

Terrible rooms without windows to outside. It’s not soundproof so you can hear everything during sleep. The hotel is located next to a bunch of construction sites as well. The only good thing is that the personnel are nice and helpful though most of them speak...
