Santa Laura Hotel has an outstanding cleaning appearance in all the areas. Very well painted and decorated walls in every single corner. The hotel have a lot of common shared areas for meetings or chats with friends and family; including three amazing balconies that invite you to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or infusion while breath the breeze. This Hotel has a private parking ( 3 floors) accessible through 3 large stairs to the Hotel lobby or 2 of the rooms levels
The reception staff and general services personnel are extremely helpful and friendly.
The rooms on the first floor have pantry area where you can probably prepare food if necessary or if you plan a long stay in town.
there are not disability access to all areas or even to the restaurant. in one of the reviews was mentioned that in the main floor are disable capabilities but the true is, that rooms are comfortable but not truly accesible for disable guests, specially to the bathroom with narrow doors and showers.
Rooms are well ventilated but with the big defect that are extremely noisy, allowing you to hear the next room cell phone alerts the snoring neighbors, or to hear them every time they enter to the toillet. The hotel closes the doors in the night, and use a door bell that can be heard in all the areas, at 11 pm , 1, Am , 2 Am does not matter, you can hear them and not able to rest properly; and Worst, is the fact that guests are allowed to play loud music in the balcony late in the night
During my stay, guests were allowed to drink alcohol and move the furniture on the balcony from 22:30 until 03:45 AM. and you can hear them with the music and even screaming that they are going to throw up. I never experienced this, not even in a Hostel.
Summary: the biggest hotel in the town, with no disable guest accessibility, with own parking lot ( three floors) and extremely noisy rooms. Good for a short stay with access to the main attractions in the town if you travel with own or rented vehicle, but not for you if you plan to rest . Unless you love to party or you are a...
Read moreGreat hotel in small colombian pueblo. Weather here is spectacular and I sleep soundly whenever I come to this part of Colombia. Unlike other guest I never heard a single neighbour or any door chimes. People are super friendly and very helpful. Location is very convenient, breakfast is delicious and its my go-to place in this town from now on.
I imagine the negative reviews are from entitled foreigners expecting Marriott...

Privacy is not a reality in the normal room cause the windows open to the hallway. Food is good at the restaurant. In a year or less when the construction is done it will be an...
