Jerico is really a nice pueblo. There is a good atmosphere and you have many options for food etc. The only very downside of it is that the road further south doesnt exist (unless you have a very good 4x4) meaning you need to travel all the way back to the highway before you can travel further on.. it s a very long detour. There are other very typical pueblos easier to reach...

Ubicado a dos horas larguitas de Medellín por la vía que va al suroeste. Es un parque agradable y cálido. En el costado principal se encuentra la iglesia renovada, muy grande por cierto donde se celebraron todos los oficios relacionados con la canonización de la Madre Laura. Otro de sus costados es una gran terraza con abundantes restaurantes que te ofrecen todo tipo de comidas o bebidas para pasar un buen rato departiendo con los tuyos. El parque es limpio, amplio con buena oferta de productos de la región y en muchas ocasiones hacen espectáculos allí. Me pareció un pueblo muy bonito, organizado de gente amable y cálida con buenos hoteles a un muy buen precio y hay mucho pare ver, comenzando por supuesto con la casa de la Madre Laura, La iglesia principal y muchas de ellas que hay allí. Es una lástima que no este funcionando el teleférico que te lleva a un punto muy alto desde donde se divisa todo el pueblo y el valle donde esta ubicado, que es hermoso, por lo que tendremos que conformarnos con estar cerca del teleférico pues allí está también el cerro del Salvador que tiene buena vista...
