Hostal Palomino EcoHouse & Camping — Hotel in Dibulla

Great place in the beautiful Palomino with amazing hosts. I have been twice in Palomino Eco House as I like try different areas and have privacy, I found this place close to 10th Avenue which I can say is one of the most beautiful ways in Palomino to get the beach. This is basically because you are out of the main one and also everything is super green. It is the street of the huge Higueron tree and French Bakery. You can listen the frogs around pretty much all day , is like a music concert hahaha. What about the house and hosts? They took care my stuff when I went to the Guajira and offer to me not just a place to stay , it was more a kind of home. You have your own private bathroom which is nice and they are trying to do their best to go into sustentainable in terms of recycling which sometimes is really hard here. You can cook your own food and also order food for a good price in the hostel. There is a beautiful cat called Palomito, super special :) About the neighbourhood? It’s a very safe area, during the weekend it can be a bit noisy sometimes during the night but less than definetly other places first line in the beach. Ich war 2 Wochen im Dezember 2024 im Eco House Hotel/Camping. Es hat mir dort sehr gut gefallen. Die Hauptstraße, der Strand und die Sierra Nevada sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die Chefin des Hauses, Senair ist total nett und kümmert sich liebevoll um ihre Gäste. Ich habe bei ihr spanisch Unterricht genommen. Wir haben uns jeden Tag zwei mal drei Stunden auf spanisch unterhalten. Für europäische Verhältnisse war es preiswert, und ich konnte mein spanisch deutlich verbessern. Senair spricht Englisch. Wer ein wenig abseits vom lauten Tourismus, authentisches Kolumbien sucht, ist im Eco House Hotel/Camping richtig

Me alojé en el Eco House Hotel/Camping durante 2 semanas en diciembre de 2024. Me gustó mucho allí. La calle principal, la playa y Sierra Nevada están a poca distancia. La jefa de la casa, Senair, es muy amable y cuida con cariño a sus huéspedes. Tomé clases de español con ella. Hablábamos en español dos veces tres horas todos los días. Era barato para los estándares europeos, y pude mejorar mi español significativamente. Senair habla inglés. Si está buscando una auténtica Colombia lejos del turismo ruidoso, el Eco House Hotel/Camping es el lugar...

Tuve una muy buena estadía en este hostal. Me Iba a quedar dos días y terminé quedándome una semana. La habitaciones son económicas. Todas los espacios permanecen limpios y la cocina que está a disposición de los huéspedes es muy práctica. Los huéspedes también pueden comer de los mangos qué caen en el patio cuando es temporada 😍

El ambiente es familiar, la dueña tiene buenos consejos de las actividades y restaurantes en la zona. Además estuvo pendiente durante mi estadía, muy amable, y súper buena cocinera! El último día tuve la suerte de compartir con los huéspedes un desayuno delicioso que hizo la dueña para la ocasión. Un lindo detalle que siempre llevaré en mi memoria
