EXCELLENT HOTEL

Look, I'll give it to you straight, this place is the bee's knees. Great price. Clean, modern room. Fresh, crisp sheets. Very comfortable beds. Fresh towels. Friendly staff. Great internet/wifi. Close to multiple commercial/restaurant centres. View from top floor room is lovely. Actual visual and aesthetics here exceed those shown in the pictures on Google- it's even nicer.

"Big box" hotels just can't compete with this kind of homely, genuine service. It's a small crew that are very professional, and that actually care about you, the customer.

After dealing with so many disappointing roach motels over the years, I breathed a sigh of relief experiencing this place. If you are looking for a place where you feel at home, this is it.

I stayed here for a week and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was simple, but consistently well executed. Rooms were cleaned regularly. Staff were jovial and friendly in a natural, non-forced way. The people here actually went out of their way to help me with several requests that were honestly beyond the scope of regular hotel service.

If you are looking at multiple hotels and unsure about which one to stay at, pull the trigger and try here, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely small hotel situated in a great part of the city. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely and more than sufficient. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Fernando was a champion, lots of useful information and assisted with tour bookings, very helpful! All this at what I considered to be an average rate. But the service didn't stop when we checked out. Mistakenly I left my sim card in the room (how did that happen?!) and I travelled back to Pereira (1 hour away). I discovered my loss the following day and when I called the hotel they advised they had the sim and were happy to post it to me (no fee) in Pereira. From my experience arranging postage in Colombia is no easy task, just to mail a postcard to Australia they required all my identification details and a finger print!! Marcela at Regines was only too happy to arrange postal of my sim which I am sure was an inconvenience to her. I stayed at this hotel from June 10th to June 13th 2018 and it has a nice view, good breakfast and the staff is nice. However, my door was opened twice with no previous knocking, once when I was sleeping and once while attending a work conference on my computer, so I really felt deprived of my privacy (the use of a "don't bother" sign could help). The hotel's web page indicates that they have an exquisite menu for 3 meals a day: that's completely false, they only serve breakfast. The rooms are pretty loud since the front desk phone rings and you can hear it as if it were inside your room. Finally, on the day I was leaving they told me that although I'd paid 3 weeks before staying with them, through Lifemiles web site, I had to pay again since they hadn't figured out how Lifemiles worked. So, what if I hadn't brought a credit card with me since I already had paid for my hotel package almost a month before going there? They definitively didn't care and made me paid twice and handle the refund directly...
