Wohltuender Rückzugsort mit Charme und viel Menschlichkeit

Dieses kleine, feine und mit aller Herzenswärme geführte Hotel von Diana ist wahrhaft eine Oase im Trubel der Stadt. Und verdient von A bis Z alle zehn Sterne – und wir würden auch zwölf Sterne geben, wenn es möglich wäre!

Das ganze Haus ist wirklich schön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und blitzblank sauber – mit geräumigen und heimeligen Zimmern, dem allerbequemsten Bett auf unserer Reise, phänomenalen Duschen in individuell gestalteten Bädern und kleinen, sehr angenehmen Details wie jeden Tag frisches Trinkwasser, das bereitgestellt wird. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Garten, in dem das ausnehmend leckere Frühstück serviert wird und in dem man wunderbar verweilen kann.

Die Inhaberin ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, jederzeit ansprechbar und man fühlt sich eher als willkommene Freunde – wir haben das sehr geschätzt und die Begegnungen und Gespräche als sehr wertvoll wahrgenommen. Die hier erlebte Gastfreundschaft – auch durch die so freundliche Mitarbeiterin – waren wirklich herausragend.

Und auch die Lage ist super: Die Casa Esencia liegt in einer ruhigen und sicheren Wohnstraße ganz woanders als Poblito, zugleich sind Metro und allerlei Geschäfte und Lokale nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Man hat also Medellin oder die Comuna 13 direkt vor der Haustüre – und ist dennoch bemerkenswert ruhig aufgehoben.

Wir sind hier bei Diana nach einer mehrtägigen Wanderung und langer Busreise, etwas orientierungslos für die nächsten Tage und tropfnass angekommen und haben genau das gebraucht: Ruhe, gute Gespräche, Zuwendung, leckere Versorgung und eine top gepflegte Unterkunft mit Zuhause-Qualität – 1000-mal Danke dafür.

Soothing retreat with charm and lots of humanity

This small, fine hotel with all the warmth of Diana's heart is truly an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. And deserves all ten stars from A to Z - and we would also give twelve stars if it were possible!

The whole place is really beautiful and very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean - with spacious and homey rooms, the most comfortable bed on our trip, phenomenal showers in individually designed bathrooms, and small, very pleasant details like fresh drinking water provided every day. There is a very nice garden where the exquisitely delicious breakfast is served and wonderful to linger in.

The owner is incredibly helpful, responsive at all times and you feel more like welcome friends - we appreciated this very much and perceived the meetings and conversations as very valuable. The hospitality experienced here - also by the absolutely friendly staff - was really outstanding.

And also the location is great: Casa Esencia is located in a quiet and safe residential street quite different from Poblito, at the same time the metro and all kinds of stores and pubs are only a few minutes walk away. So you have Medellin or Comuna 13 right at your doorstep - and yet you are in a remarkably safe and quiet place.

We arrived at Diana's after a hike of several days and a long bus trip, somewhat disoriented for the next few days and dripping wet and had exactly what we needed: peace, good conversation, attention, delicious food and a top maintained accommodation with home quality - 1000...

Nous avons séjourné trois semaines dans la meilleure chambre d'hôtes de Medellin. Nous y revenons pour la seconde fois.

Vous serez séduits par l'accueil réservé par Diana et son fils David. Elle parle couramment le français et sera votre meilleure guide pour visiter Medellin et ses environs.

Ses trois chambres pleines de charmes, avec salle de bains privatives, vue soit sur le jardin soit sur le patio intérieur.

Le petit déjeuner et copieux et la table d'hôte pour le dîner vous fera voyager à travers les différents plats locaux colombiens (entrée, plat, désert, café, eau et jus de fruits frais compris.Un régal

Quant à la situation, vous sejournerez proche de la station de métro Floresta et non loin du centre sportif et de la piscine.

Diana dispose de son propre véhicule pour vous faire découvrir la région c'est la meilleure guide que je connaisse.

I would stay here every time I'm in Medellin. The host is amazing and incredibly accommodating. As a solo traveler who appreciates the quietness and tranquility, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for a couple of nights. It was great to start the morning with an amazing breakfast made by the host and get the recovery I needed at the end of the day and throughout the night.
