Hostel Metro Floresta Alojamiento — Hotel in Medellín

I loved the place!!! It's a small hostel with around 20 beds which makes it really easy to meet people. Even though it's a very social hostel, the common area can sometimes get a bit crowded, it's not a party hostel which I liked. The cherry on top of the cake is the owner Ricardo. If you have any questions he will do everything to help you out!

The location is great, too. The hostel is in a very chill residential neighborhood with some nice and very affordable restaurants and in short walking distance to the metro station Floresta. I'm a girl from Germany and never felt unsafe in that area.

I've walked a couple of times to Parque Laureles which is around 20min if you want to check out a more touristy area with loads of bars and restaurants.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the hostel and would highly recommend it for a relaxed and yet central stay...

10 out of 10 experience in Ricardo’s hostel. Ricardo is the nicest guy on earth. He helped us out when we lost our phone and we didn’t manage to contact the support in spanish (several days with multiple calls). Besides that he also has the best tips for what to do in town and really wants the people living in the hostel to have the greatest experience possible in Medellin. He showed us around in the neighborhood, organized a barbecue and simply laughed with us every day. Also the neighborhood is really nice and there is everything you need within 5 minutes walking distance. I‘d be happy to come back to my friend...

Absolutely loved my stay here! The owner, Ricardo, is a lovely person. He’s extremely welcoming and does a great job fostering community amongst travelers. The kitchen/lounge is tiny but somehow still made for a great place to hang out. It’s a quieter hostel (no party hostel vibes) but still very sociable in a way. It’s impeccably clean and in a calm, walkable neighborhood filled with non-touristy restaurants & bars. I stayed in the private room - it’s quite small and the bed hard but it was quiet, very affordable and ultimately perfect for my stay. Would definitely return....
