Meraki Boutique Hostel — Hotel in San Gil

We had been twice in Meraki when visiting San Gil, for sure we will continue visiting this fantastic hostal. The owners are very kind, the top quality food they offer (all from their farm in Mogotes - fresh, organic and delicious), the accommodations, great environment and views from the top rooms make all together a great place to stay. Meraki is very well located next to modern mall El Puente and walking distance from good places in San Gil. We stayed here for a total of 5 nights and can absolutely recommend the place. Gustavo the owner is very kind and helpful with all kinds of matters. He really goes out his way to make his guests feel at home and have a great time in San Gil. The breakfast, which was included in our booking was really great, given what we paid for the stay. We've stayed 2 nights at this rather new hostel. Rooms are cosy and clean. During our stay the son and cousin of the owner helped us out with everything we needed. They speak English (except for the owner). They made us breakfast on request and walked with us to the bus terminal to help us get to the nearby towns. You can book all activities with them.
