Simply the best rafting we have ever done (and we have done quite a bit of that!) Just WOW!! I actually like to congratulate the staff as their rafting adventures are very well done! First off, communication with the agency was smooth, questions were answered fast and we decided to explore two different rivers with them. We started with the Suarez rafting outing which was adrenaline packed, fun, and the river just stunning with lots of tropical vegetation. A hearty lunch was awaiting us with a cold beer before the drive back to their office. The following day we joined a rafting outing to the famous Chicamocha canyon which was totally different in vegetation, the large canyon got narrower and narrower, the lunch in a small village by the river was a great experience and the second part of the rafting trip (a total of 32 KM!) was quite challenging and therefore a ton of fun. We navigated serious rapids and felt very secure with our guide. Both guides on both days were very professional, the explanations were clear instructions were clear too. The drive back to the office was long and we arrived early in the evening but we knew that from the start and it was not a problem as the road was simply stunning. If you want some serious fun, are up for an adventure then definitely make sure to hop on board. We are glad we did both outings as they were so different from...

Absolutely went above and beyond our expectations. We had been exchanging emails with Laura and she set up 6 tours in 4 days along with transportation to and from the airport. When we arrive Cesar picked us up and drove us to the office. Laura was on holiday but Jenny continued keeping us informed of the itinerary. We raft the rio suarez with Nuestro. This was the best rafting experience we ever had!! The next day Freddy and his team took us to paraglide and Alejandro made the trip fantastic! The following day we did Xplorer with Julian and Barichara. Cesar and Carlos picked us up and we stopped at a town near by and had a Colombian lunch. Amazing!! Carlos took us on a private tour of Barichara and it was breathtaking. The last day for tours,Cesar and Carlos picked us up and we went to Juan Curiti waterfall and Cave of Indian. Both were absolutely amazing. We stopped off for lunch in San Gil at El Mana and had the best food. Cesar took us back to the airport the next day. The overall planning Laura and Jenny did and the constant communication was amazing. We never had to worry on this trip. It was amazing spending time with Cesar and Carlos, they made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you...

ÂĄSuper bueno! My boyfriend and I took a 3 day kayaking class with Ricardo, and it was fantastic. Ricardo is knowledgeable, professional, resourceful, encouraging, and accommodating. He taught us the basics in a really accessible way, as well as incrementally walking us through the more complicated Eskimo roll. Against all odds, by day 3, we were both Eskimo rolling on our own!

And Ricardo really went above and beyond the kayak course, recommending restaurants, teaching us the history of different areas of the Santander region, and even telling us about the hidden grave of a famous engineer! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Do yourself a favor, and take advantage of everything he has to offer! He knows all the best swimming holes, waterfalls, hikes, nightlife, dance spots, street food—just, anything you’d want to know.

If you’re only in San Gil for a short time, I highly recommend you take a class with Ricardo. It’d be worth the price just for him to act as concierge for your visit! And if you’re SUPER lucky, maybe you’ll also get to meet his awesome...

THE BEST - literally! We had so much fun with the Colombia Rafting Expediciones team. The team is brilliant đŸ”„, from the administration team to our instructors, Nestor and William to the chef. They spoke great English too :) We were extremely taken care of, especially when rafting up to a rapid of 4+, we knew what to do at each phrase of the river (it’s our first time!). Yummy lunch, videos and photos were given to us too. Kudos to the team, you guys are amazing! We felt your passion for us, for this sports and people around you (and Tiger đŸ¶)! Thank YOU ❀ Ps, do bring tips with you when you go for your water rafting tour. You will want to give back to the crew onsite 😉

Very well-organised tour agency. Did the Rio Suarez rafting (don’t miss out if the water level is ok to go!): 1. Pickup at around 10-ish, after which signing and paying at the office, as well as a short introduction of the tour- and safety-guides. 2. 1.5h comfortable drive to the starting location. 3. Very extensive safety briefing & practice. 4. Rafting 5. Lunch (this is the only point of criticism: I’m glad I brought some myself) 6. Ride back & drop-off at your place Some GoPro footage is included, but they’ll offer photos from a kayaker as well if there is animo for it: 100.000 per boat. In short: safe, wel organised but most of all a lot of fun thanks to the crew!
