Brilliant!! 100% recommendation

It was seriously the best vacation of my whole life and this is hugely due to the loveliest staff I've ever met! ❤️ 😍

I've stayed here for 8 nights Feb/March 2024. During this time they trialled free (!) wifi /wlan and in my case it worked well, however I did internet detox.

Rooms & reception: 24 hour reception, nice little shop for anything you need. Staff very attentive and helps you with literally anything. Rooms are spacious, beautifully designed and for your arrival arranged with fresh flowers 🌺 and a lovely arrival note. A/C works reliably and it is very clean.

Spa/breakfast & complimentary canapes. Haven't used the spa offering however it did look very nice. Breakfast consists of a small daily selection (granola, bread, sweet muffins/croissants, fruits) and you have a daily changing extra meal you can choose to order (included in the price). Food is beyond tasty (me saying this is as somebody who typically never has breakfast) but my only improvement point is that selection could be bigger. Between 3-4 pm you are served a canape & cocktail 🍸 if you're hanging around at pool area or beach area. The

Location & view: The location couldnt be better. 8min walking distance grocery shop. 3 min walking distance bus stops (but you can hail to the bus drivers literally anywhere). Some restaurants closely and te vara nui (highly recommend!!!) Also around the corner. The daily view from breakfast is incredible 🌊🏝 you can use the kayaks, snorkeling gear and SUPs to swim over to the small islands. Also Koka lagoon cruise is not far away either ). Lots of dogs on the beach (they belong to other people so majority are not homeless) as well as Jill- the hotel dog - serve you company if you like dogs 🐕🐶 don't forget mosquito spray and use it as soon as you leave your room, regardless of time of the day 🦟🦟🦟

People & staff: as mentioned, the staff is very attentive, genuinely caring for your well-being and you having the best time of your life (which I've definitely had). They typically know your first name and are very warm. There are 30 rooms so it's not too overwhelming. Adults only, the other guests are typically nice as well.

Hidden gem of Raro: SilverSands beach restaurant. It is part of the hotel and the chefs are the same that cook breakfast. Not sure why it is not spoken about more but the restaurant (lunch, dinner, daily bites) is amongst the best on the whole island! Great tasty food and big portions. Also the cocktails are on point!

Overall I still can't believe how fast the time flew by and will Def come back!!! 😍 it is not the most cheapest hotel on the island but it is Def worth...

The location is outstanding, on the prettiest and most golden of all the beaches in Rarotonga (many others are either rocky or have way too many sea cucumbers to be comfortable). The beach is protected from too much coral growth and resident sea cucumbers by 4 islands in the lagoon. It is also in an excellent location, with many other resorts around it, as well as restaurants and the Muri Night Markets, as well as an ATM and convenience store.|The resort itself is beautiful, right on the beach with lagoon views for 12 rooms, and a big clean pool inside (though at this time of year, the pool is rather chilly!). The true strength of this resort, however, is the staff. They are incredible. Every guest is known by name as soon as you arrive. The staff are so warm, friendly and accommodating. I have never experienced a better staff experience than in this resort. The housekeeping staff ask when you'd prefer your room to be done and they accommodate such requests where possible. The Reception staff (Isaac in particular) will help you with anything you need, and how do I talk about the bar and restaurant staff? Just wonderful people. Led by Issy, Cat, Matthew, Michael, Rowena and the team are amazing people with great sense of humours and bend over backwards for you. The star of the show though, is Eleanor. A brilliant bar manager with cocktail and coffee brewing stills galore, bit just so friendly and warm. She thinks of things for you before you even realise you need or want something! We have stayed at Muri Beach Club before, but found ourselves in a difficult position last minute with accommodation.||We rang Liana up and she arranged a transfer for us immediately. We received a very warm welcome and wonderful arrival drink. Our room wasn’t ready but we were told to leave our bags at reception and to make use of the facilities in the meantime time. A short while later we were given our room key and our luggage had already been taken through to the room.||Staff we had met 2 and half years ago still remembered us and welcomed us back as if we were family.||Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel special and that you are valued. I can not give the staff here enough praise.||They were full on 1 of the nights we required accomodation but found us a very suitable alternative close by. We were back the following day, welcomed again as long lost friends.||The facilities are superb, a great big pool and fantastic beach frontage. Beautiful updated outdoor furniture and furniture in the rooms as well as a fresh coat of paint. ||Breakfast is top notch, freshly and individually made food every day, fresh fruit and pastries are also supplied.||Snacks/lunch is also fantastic! ||Dinners were amazing and the restaurant manager, Izzy, even arranged a very, very special birthday dinner for my wife. ||Their free cocktail and canapé at 3pm just puts the cherry on the cake. ||The kitchen deserves high praise for the quality of food it puts out - I would even go as far as saying rivalling some top end restaurants back in New Zealand.||There are so many other things I would like to mention but don’t have time to type all day… come and find out for yourself.||Honestly, Muri Beach Club deserves every high praise possible.
