Food looked great but terrible coffee experience. Ordered three iced lattes, they usually blend with ice cream so asked just to have coffee, ice, and alternative milk as dairy free. Order was recorded correctly by the staff on the docket but the coffee maker handed me a hot coffee, when I said it was meant to be an iced coffee (as per the docket) instead of making a fresh one for me, seeing as it was their mistake, she poured the hot coffee over ice..despite her colleague telling her that would just melt. Hands me a lukewarm coffee and the attitude wasn’t great either, again, not my mistake ! Didn’t drink the awful coffee threw it away outside, wasn’t worth an argument but clearly terrible customer service. Friends coffees made after mine tasted burnt and also weren’t drunk. The order wasn’t complicated and any person who makes coffee properly knows pouring a hot coffee over ice is not an iced coffee. Better training required for coffee maker for both coffee and hospitality . Girl on the counter was so nice you could tell...
Read moreIf you're into real bad service this is your place. Four people standing behind the counter and none felt like attending to the queue that had formed. Finally being addressed there was no "hi" or "kia orana", but just a whispered "yes?" or whatever, it got drowned out by the music. Service was super rude, I had a real simple order and in repeating they messed it up twice. They do have oat milk, but it's not on the menu - they didn't seem to be too bothered by the fact when I pointed out I would've ordered oat milk in the first place if it was on the menu. Baked goods look good, but definitely not coming back to this place. If you don't like interacting with people then don't run a bakery or work in the back room perhaps? Paid 13.50$ for an iced coffee with oat milk and the cinnamon donut, which is a fair price. Iced coffee was a blended coffee..... another disappointment. This place doesn't deserve even a fraction of the...
Read moreDisappointing experience. Walked in to be told everything was half price which is probably because we visited near the end of the day which lovely. After ordering a few things, the prices were not half price and I was ever told one of the items ‘cinnamon donut’ was $5 and discounted to $4 but it was labelled as $4 clearly on the cabinet. I asked a few times trying to understand if they were half price and why the prices were the same but I was ignored and told ‘I did a little price change’ which was not the case and not what she said at the start. Terrible place, I would never trust a business that tries to deceive. As a local I cannot imagine what tourists...
